I think Sam’s videos give the viewer the closest experience to actually being in the car with him. Whether it’s the beautiful shots or excellent audio quality, all of the videos are fantastic. He has an underrated channel that deserves more subs tbh. Great video Sam!

These videos are sub par in my opinion especially when you have someone like shmee who drops well rounded videos as opposed to Sam who should just drop podcasts from now on since his face is apparently the drawing factor to his videos and not the extremely rare Ferrari he’s sitting in

@@brandonsims131 I think Faris is referring to this whole series in general, it's one of the most ambitious drives that any car youtuber has ever taken. And Sam managed to do it and still manage to maintain the cinematography in the videos, and struck a good balance between pushing automotive content and a travel vlog. Regarding views Shmee is good and he uses the YT algorithm to his advantage, more videos = more recommendations to more people. Shmee's content is more technical which is also good but personally I don't think if he did a drive the world like this, it would be as entertaining. In my opinion just cockpit views, high speed runs, track work and specs don't entertaining me as much. With Sam he's managed to immerse you in the countries he's travelling in whilst pushing out good content, but he's not putting out enough content to get him in the YT recommended section which is unfortunate.

1nmasuku I hear what your saying but I’d like point out the whole reason for this trip is to travel AND the cars and he’s disappointed so far on both and I wholeheartedly think the views reflect that. The Australia trip seems to be when his creativity peaked. I do enjoy SOME of his cinematography but short bursts of good cinematics surrounded by lackluster content is still a at best a average video. He used to be WAY more ambitious in his video ideas but I think he’s gotten ambitious LOCATIONS confused with ambitious and original CONTENT. Hes seems to have made up some sort of video making routine that involves hopping in a car, complaining about something, sticking the camera on his face, talking some more, and then he might throw a couple panning shots and 4 second narrow road driving that’s not engaging whatsoever I didn’t realize this trip would become a personal lifestyle vlog where he’s the centerpiece and not the cars I’m 100% sure the algorithms are not his problem it’s this repetitive ass cookie cutter content

@@brandonsims131 I concur, I wonder whether or not more planning should have been taken in terms of activities to do in each country. With his previous content I think the advantage he had was time, I remember vlogangels and vlograrri had alot of good content which seemed more thought out but he also had substantial amount of time to develop somewhat of a story line. I wonder whether or not when the US leg starts things may get better. Personally if I was Sam I would have tried to embrace myself with the local car scene in each country and focused on finding amazing roads and even doing a bit of track work. But we'll see how the rest of this series go. For me now its hoping that he gets to drive the P1 to complete the holy trinity.
