Cool animation but there's a legend that Henri Toivonen was testing his Delta S4 on the circuit at the same time as F1 Bolids and rumour is that he would start at P6 with his Delta. Isn't it incredible?

Back in the 1986 Portugal Rally, they had a rally stage on the Estoril F1 circuit, and the S4 and Turbo 16's were lapping 3 seconds slower than the F1 at the time! But then there were already rumours of 600bhp in the S4 by mid 1986! Awesome!

In 1986 henry did a test whit the s4 on Imola track. His time would get him a 6st place on the grit of formule one that same year. De delta s4 up to 100 km or 62 mls in 2.3 sec. Later toivonen (Henka) would crach and die in Corsica rally Fan for life, R.I.P henka

In this case the F1 2018 would have started her second lap already, it's impossible to compare a 32 yo rally car with an almost new F1 car on a race track. I would have put them on a stage in Montecarlo or at the Tour de Corse, that would have been fun to see... The S4 would have beat the crap out from poor Seb...

In un universo parallelo forse...non in questo...Difficle battere una F1 quando la velocità massima della S4 era 200 km/h e comunque una S4 si prendeva una quaresima da una F1, anche da una F3000 ed anche da una F3. Nel Rally del Portogallo del 1986 fecero una prova spettacolo all'Estoril e la S4, su un circuito mmolto più corto di quello della F1, fece il tempo che aveva fatto Senna l'anno prima ma con pista bagnata!!!!!! Questa è una leggenda che gira da anni, una bufala bella e buona, che Cesare fiorio, Ds Lancia dell'epoca, ha smentito alla grande.

Giuseppe Corona falso, la velocità massima senza limitatori, andava ben oltre i 200... anche perché arrivava a toccare anche i 650cv nella versione più potente, e con un determinato settaggio, poteva coprire i 0-100 in 2,3 sec. Ben più veloce di qualsiasi f1 dell’epoca. Che poi ovviamente i tempi da f1 erano impossibili da eguagliare, anche perché si parla di una vettura da rally, è fuori dubbio. Ma in partenza la S4 faceva mangiare la polvere alle F1 e ne fa mangiare ancora oggi a tante supercar. Ovviamente alla prima curva iniziavano i problemi. Quella autolimitata a 200 era la stradale.

sirkain83 659 cv sono una leggenda. La S4 non li ha MAI avuti. In una prova gatta da Quattroruote si riporta una potenza massima di 480 cv...forse anche esagerati. 2,3 secondi da 0 a 100 sono un tempo irrealistico già per una F1 odierna, figuriamoci per un'auto derivata dalla serie. Cosa farebbe oggi una Wrc odierna che devasterebbe i tempi delle vecchie gruppo B ad una F1 degli anni '80? Niente, prenderebbe una superpaga come la prendeva la S4. Sulla S4 girano troppe leggende metropolitane alimentate da siti dove si riportano dati mai verificati se non perfino inventati di sana pianta. Oggi una odierna R5 da rally va più forte di una gruppo B...questo vuol dire che batterebbe la Lotus di Senna? Non in questo universo.
