Love it, curious to know if any polishing was needed?

Since the car was receiving full vehicle PPF coverage, we opted to forego polishing. There are a few reasons for this.. 1) Paint will look perfect with PPF over it regardless of condition. 2) Ferrari are notorious for paint issues, so we can avoid these problems and also retain more clearcoat on the vehicle for when it truly needs work later in its life. 3) Something about polishing a vehicle makes the surface extremely tacky when installing film. The film will play nicer and the vehicle will be cleaner, allow for a cleaner install without stretch marks or ‘strawberries’ due to too much tack or sticky paint. With that said, if we weren’t doing full PPF coverage or if the car had some extreme defects like hard water, etc. we would have polished prior to the install. We still have high standards for the paint work, but sometimes there are other methods we can use to preserve the vehicle.
