They did not swap the crank, but the headers are custom and do not give equal exhaust pulses.

Or it's actually a "Ferrari" F136... but out of a Maserati. Ferrari and Maserati were in bed with each other for the F136; no doubt in my mind Ferrari said "cool you can have the crossplane version because we don't want a lowly Maserati Quattroporte to have the Ferrari sound" You see a lot of sellers claiming that it's the same motor out of the Ferrari, but it's not. Also, as mentioned, manifold design plays a roll (log type manifold = barf)... but I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the "lumpiness" sound is because it's actually a Maserati lump.

Thats what happens when you replace equal length manifolds with log manifolds. Still sounds pretty good though when its up in rpm's.

@@mareksumguy1887 I do think the rev-happy NA F136 motor sounds an order of magnitude better than this thing... he could have got the same results with an LS1 and be able to rebuild the thing with parts from Pep Boys. BUT, then you wouldn't be unique... and that's sort of the whole point in building fun shit like this. At least he didn't stance the mustang...
