I'm kinda tired of UK based press pushing the narative that this year the team is somehow going to make some miracle and challange for titles. As you correctly say; changes to working structure have been made - these take time to make any real effect - also, any real F1 fan understands this year cars are basically the same as last year minus a few changes aerowise. This year is about having the correct structure - making sure the team is working well with the drives and viceversa and hopefully not be as bad as last year. End of. Stop trying to push them up so you can then throw them down and clown professionals. thanks

What are you guys talking about? FOM released the simulation runs from testing, taking into account the tire compound, track conditions and fuel level. According to that Ferrari is 8th fastest on quali pace and 6th fastest on race pace. Mercedes and Hamilton deserve all of their success. Even in 2017 and 2018 when Ferrari had a faster car, Mercedes and Hamilton still took the championship by quite the margin. Mercedes just have a work ethic that gives them success. You can see the toxic nature of Red Bull and Ferrari don't want to hire anyone who isn't Italian. I'd rather Mercedes keep dominating than them dropping back. Best case scenario is that other teams catch up.

With a vision of bringing another championship back to Ferrari, they put all their hopes in four time F1 champion Vettel ..who turned out to be a major disappointment. I question whether Ferrari's struggles in 2020 was Vettel ..or the Scuderia. 2021 brings new hope for the SF21, incorporating major changes that will surely present equal engineering challenges for their new engine and cooling, transmission, suspensions, floor/diffuser, both wings and many more. Quite a heavy load for sophomore driver Charles Leclerc and freshman driver Carlos Sainz. Wishing them well ..but keeping it real.

I think they’ll have a decent season. They won’t win championships. Maybe they won’t even win races but they’ll be in the hunt for the occasional podium. After the first half dozen races or so they’ll shift full focus onto 2022 car if they haven’t already.

*Honestly I don’t know, Ferrari absolutely looks like they want revenge this season..* My very short analysis on why👇🏽 Ferrari literally ended up 6th and was lacking massive straight-line speed. Yeah they ended 6th, but only 71 points seperated them from 2nd place. Leclerc scored 98 points alone and beat Norris, Ocon & Stroll in a far worser car than them. Albon & Sainz with a more superior card ended with 7 points more that him while Ric & Perez “only” scored 21 and 27 points more than him. Keep in mind they were in far better car... So let’s assume that Ferrari have fixed their engine and they got decent pace on the straight while Sainz hopefully can do what Vettel couldn’t, and that’s exactly keeping up with Charles, then I don’t see them struggle for 3rd place. They will easily take it. If that Red Bull second Seat really is cursed, then I literally see Ferrari back to 2nd place if Perez going to struggle like Gasly and Albon.
