It's easy to think that based on results, but everyone knows that Lewis only needs a bit of performance to outperform a car. Last year is a good example of that. Whether Ferrari replaced the right driver however, is a different story. I think LeClerc, whilst being a great driver, has a greater history of making mistakes. Sainz is a more instinctual driver. I think he has the greater potential.

The biggest mistake, I wasn't happy when I saw the news. Hamilton first has moved to Ferrari only for convenience of money and prestige, and he is also to bossy for my like, and has no more the hanger and speed that a young driver got today. Even Bearman is better. Sainz is a lost and Hamilton will bring only problem. Ferrari has to stop courting people like Hamilton or even this Adrian. I make the offer once, you refuse at that point I will no ask anymore your service. Ferrari can get the best in line if the team performed much more than any other team. KEEPING Begging for Hamilton or Adrian NO WAY. Where was Adrian when the Mercedes was at the top? He was like all the rest, 8 years study day and night how to design a better car. Ferrari has a good aerodynamic engineer now and he is good enough, they pay him much less because is based in Italy so he is also faithful, and second, they don't have to offer him a blank cheque and a private jet. It's absurd.

Ferrari is a lot faster than the Mercedes so you can’t judge two drivers in two different cars,last year Ferrari were faster but just look who came in third place behind the dominant Redbulls. Too many people writing off Lewis but given the right car I’m sure he will prove people wrong,people saying he’s getting slower I don’t think so he’s just got no confidence in that car and that’s why he’s leaving. If Lewis thought Mercedes was going to be the force they once were within the next couple of years he would of stayed, he made the right choice by leaving McLaren when he did and think he’s made the right decision this time as well to go to Ferrari.

This year is his final year at Mercedes so of course George is going to have all their support, and at least Lewis has raced against real competition with the same equipment and beaten three world champions. Please name me anyone who Max has beaten with the same equipment and ability and the only time he was pushed the FIA changed the rules to give him the title, F1 has always been about the car yet Max fans for some reason think it’s all him and has nothing to do with a car that is beating everyone by a second a lap in race trim. You can’t do what Lewis has done without talent but you also need a lot of luck,if you look at last year what are the odds of Redbull not having a dnf all season now that’s what I call luck. Alonzo another driver I like has had the opposite in terms of luck by making the wrong moves at the wrong time, the only thing I don’t like about Alonzo is his ability to shoot his mouth off and act like a baby because of his own bad choices. F1 will show Lewis as one of the greatest drivers of all time and at his peak he was unbeatable that’s talent,The same will always be said about champions as you can’t put one above the other because of the cars they drive and the amount of races they do. I don’t personally like Max but he’s a champion now and will go down in history as that but as far as being the greatest No, the real heroes of F1 are all dead or not far off because back in the early days their life expectancy was three seasons that’s how dangerous it was back then.

I may be just fooling myself and attempting to give Vasseur credit he doesn’t deserve here, (as the honourable gentleman I believe him to be) but I think that signing LH was in no way his decision and a situation that was forced on him. I just can’t imagine him, as a person, shafting Carlos in this fashion. I’m extremely disappointed to see this moaning git at Ferrari and I’m certain it’s a decision they will come to regret. That’s massively regret in a racing sense primarily. Way before we even mention the long time financial commitment they have (IMHO stupidly) signed themselves up for. Mercedes weren’t prepared to show him loyalty stretching any further than twelve months into the future, but Ferrari will?
