Well we should admire Dos Santos too! 1st time competing 2001, in 2011 has a Double Layout as a dismount. :)

7 world floor final: 2006 bronze 2007 5 place 2010 6 place 2011 in the top 8 for the EF but she didn't do the final for an injury 2013 Silver 2014 5 place and she reach 8 european floor final winning 2 gold 2 Silver 1 bronze and we are only talking about floor through her career

her score seems too low, I think she deserves more. And I honestly think that this only happens with the gymnasts coming from the less influential nations in this sport. But she was the champion of the world ,Do you remember that? she is still the vice-world champion on floor ! There are many medals she deserved that she hasn't. Vanessa is elegant, her's exercise is of high difficulty so I want to say: do not judge the Americans because they are American and Italian because they are Italian,it's not important, that wins the best! They are gymnasts and countries should not influenced in scores! I'm not saying that bilea didn't deserve what she won , she deserves everything ... she flies on floor. But today I hope that on Sunday the Vanessa's score will be the score she'll deserve . And I hope the same for the Russian, Romanian or American. Come on Vanessa, since 2006 to forever.

MrRik458 Ferrari does have a chance to win gold though. She has a 6.5 SV as long as she does the back tuck out of the full-in double tuck. If she goes clean during the final, with the 6.5 SV, she can definitely win.

Moka Akashiya I hope you're right. I'm Italian and I'd be extremely proud to see her on top of the world again, after 8 years... But, to me, Biles is capable of cleaner execution so I think that, even with the two having the same start value, Biles has the upper hand... On the other hand, in PT Ferrari was also training a Double Layout + Split Leap connection for an extra 0.1, which would bring her start value up to a 6.6.. So, who knows!:)

I love Vanessa Ferrari's floor routine and her routine was the only one I remembered as it was beautiful and yet elegant and the tumbling and landing were executed so cleanly, I think she was underscored for execution else she could have won a medal and I really admire Vanessa's perseverance all these years, she has determination and it's longevity in a sport when most of her peers have retired from competing, I hope she can win more substantial medals soon for the hard work she puts in
