@Pascal Melchior Ferrari doesn't have to enter officially as a factory team. Ferrari has many subsidiary/partner teams like AF Corse, Risi Competizione, Spirit of Race that could enter if they want to.

@Pascal Melchior I think Ferrari would gladly partner with Risi Competizione for the WEC hypercar. Ferrari and Risi have a history in prototype cars. Risi won the 1998 Daytona 24h and many other prestigious races with the Ferrari 333 SP. So I definitely think a collaboration between Ferrari and Risi for the WEC hypercar is possible.

The Evo looks so much better than the original FXXK. And it must drive better because the thing I don't like about driving the FXXK (in Assetto Corsa) is how loose the rear end is. That wing must be a huge improvement.

The owner doesn't have to do anything. Ferrari pays for the transport of the car to the circuit wherever he lives, pays for the fly ticket, accomodation, party, buffet, mechanics and pilots. There is a video on youtube of Solomon and Harris where they explain all the details of the event

You can, but you lose many of the benefits of having Ferrari completely maintain and do upkeep as well as manage logistics for transporting the cars etc etc.. As they are not road legal, so long as the owner wishes to use them on the race tracks it just makes more sense to let Ferrari manage everything.
