Alpine Adventure 2017 - final highlight of our tour: the oldest and one of the most beautiful vie ferrate in Spain, via ferrata Teresina de Montserrat (K5 / D).
The final exit chimney is the last challenge of our tour and again demands everything from us. With technical climbing and securing by rope, we finally reach the observation deck of Sant Jeroni (1,236 m), the highest point of Montserrat, which rewards us with a breathtaking panorama.
Teresina is a trail of superlatives. The route winds through picturesque gorges, over photogenic, extremely airy crossings, steep uphills and several conglomerate summits up to the highest peak of the Serra de Montserrat. There are some typical spanish passages to master. In the lower part, the orientation is a bit tricky. Over a large part of the climb the difficulty is of pleasant K3 / C to a maximum of K4 / C-D. However, the key point, the 30-meter-high, very technical exit chimney, deviates very clearly from it. This is to be rated at least with K5 / D. All in all, it is an absolute 5-star tour and in the end you will be rewarded with an epic view over the Serra de Montserrat, down to the Mediterranean Sea and Barcelona. Fantastic!
