Good ferreting lads love to see long nets used I use them a lot my self saves time in setting purse nets 👍
@cumbriahunter2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it is a lot better for double bolts or resetting and ferrets disturbing them . They are good for teaching ferrets to come out the holes aswell. Just better all around really

Enjoyed the video lads. Out of curiosity is there much difference between a Ferret and a Polecat other than fur colouring?.
@urbanfox534 ай бұрын
Oh and what about the mixy issue, has that now disappeared?.
@cumbriahunter4 ай бұрын
Thanks mate . No not much difference in the wild polecat . Just domesticated and size , although there are a lot of large domesticated polecats . Yes mixi is still around, there is a new disease now aswell which is worse than mixi . Its called RHD it affects the internal organs and causes internal bleeding

Personally I would have put down more purse nets after initial bolting.More chance of getting a back net
@cumbriahunter2 жыл бұрын
We would normally put a stop net through it but we kept the net tight and they ran right into it . In the other videos there is 4 or 5 stop nets
