they are social creatures, you have to take at least two. and study them before you really want to *adopt* one. these creatures can be a real pain and it can take years to build trust between you and them. ferrets are, regarding their temperament, a mix between cats and dogs and when I think of my 3 devils, it seems they got only the worst parts of them....

Not sure if they still have it or if it was unique but the Gymnastics center I was part of when I was much younger had a sponge pit that was essentially a human version of this. It was for safely learning bar/beam routines and dismounts and YES, it is exactly as fun as you imagine.

@@OriginalPuro I've thought about that a lot recently because I've recently seen psychologists and others talk about it being an indicator that a person is lying when they say it. I do agree with that to some degree. For instance, you can see it all the time in shows like Cops or Live PD when they pull someone over and, when asked if they have drugs, the driver says something like "I'll be honest with you...I had some earlier but not now." Then the cops search the car or do a soberity test and discover the person is currently high or carrying. However, to call it a rule that people lie when they start sentences with "I'll be honest" (or whatever) are *always* lying isn't correct. It's really only true in certain situations. A lot of times, people will use that phrase in instances like the above comment and I think that's really only because it's become a habit or "reflex" or they say it without really thinking. It reminds me of how a lot of people nowadays use the word "literally."

Because in 2012 they didnt have the algorithm that was invasively stealing information to give you advertisements, which means that AI also didnt have the capability back then to know what humans find cute.
