My back always bothered me for several days after mowing on the Cadet but a lot less after upgrading to a Vevor suspension seat $300. Now my Ferris has the basic Ferris seat but the incredible suspension resolved my back issues. I can now mow an hour faster and comfortably. I have the ISX2200. I always use my leaf blower to clean that deck and the mower off after each use. Your machine looks like you go mudding with it. If the grass is that wet, I avoid mowing that day if at all possible. It just creates more ruts in the turf and creates a huge mess. Are we all really not going to not talk about the reliability differences between the Briggs and Kawasaki engines. Oh, ok.
@maraudermitchelli2 ай бұрын
I think the Briggs & Stratton engine is much more reliable than the Kawasaki engine and a better design with more horsepower and. By the way, I did mention this in the video and I believe I also discussed that I did have a problem with my starter solenoid, which I’m not happy about what they did replace under warranty. I purposely did not buy John Deere mowers because they had Kawasaki engines in them which were not fuel injected, and I specifically wanted a state-of-the-art fuel, injected engine and a Briggs and stratton engine was the premium engine. If you like Kawasaki engines, there’s nothing wrong with that. They are a great manufacturer and I’m sure they’re reliable. I am all in on the Briggs & Stratton under now. It’s a monster mow safely and in peace.

OMG you're not kidding. This years it's even worse. I rarely wash this machine and it does an excellent job. Thank you for commenting my property is very wet in the woods...this years it's really bad. Mow safely.

Junk. Own 5 different ferris models have had nothing but problems. Spend more time in the shop than cutting grass. Engines, belts, hydro pumps and all kinds of electrical issues. Will never own another.

Roger, I’m sorry you’ve had problems with your Ferris mowers. I didn’t no issues other than the solenoid on the starter. I don’t blame you being very upset with the brand you have a right to be. I hope whatever more you have now is perfect. Thank you for commenting mow safely go in peace 🙂

@@edwardboyer7102 Ed I've never heard of anyone complaining about a Ferris I'm surprised by this. 35 years ago I had a 22hp sears lawn and garden tractor, then a JD 455, then 4110, then 3334, then 3046R then the Ferris. I mowed my lawn with all those tractors. I'd like to hear the mowers Roger owns also.

That's your opinion. I don't think I purchased it because of it's looks but it does ride well and the cut is great. Be safe and thank you for commenting.

Thank you. I watched a video of their factory in Texas, others have said the engines are made in Wisconsin so I believe you...Maybe they have many factories. Anyhow it's a great engine and mower. Safe mowing and thanking.
