oops we forgot a bolt doesnt work like that everthing is all well cheaked over before its ready for the public to enter and enjoy they are cheaked buy professionals once a year also insurance on the ride and the ride hasto be upto todays standards to pass tests its a tragic when bad accidents happen but its not common and job hasto be always done properly oops we forgot a bolt no way unless the ride owner or whoever forgot that bolt will do prison for manslaughter yes but its a job its a living forgetting any bolt is against the law its hard work hard graft doing fairs not esay atoll i take my hat off to those guys doing it 24 7 just think a engine can fall out a airoplane before take off you take the risk going in a car everyday or anything can be a risk but all the correct maintance is done on these rides accidents happen alot of places not just funfairs

connor clark well said. I work on the fairground and have done for years. As my grandad was a showman. I work for many showmen who are members of the showman's guild of great Britain. Once a year every ride needs to pass stress engineering. Then a crack test. Then it's ADIPS. Then when you roll into town. The council want to see everyone's public liability insurance. (My job in the past collecting for the council man) then when they are happy we can open to the public.
