Those zips do work with crye back panels. You have the pack. Try it.
@RedactedGear3 жыл бұрын
Yes they do! But the ferro zippers run about 1inch longer, and the tabs don't line up correctly but it does work somewhat!! Thanks for the comment I generally had no idea the zips were comparable!

The shoulder straps are a pain but when you get it set up it is really comfortable and they don’t get in the way when shouldering a rifle.

Just stumbled upon this vid and it’s a good one. My former team was issued the 3AC and I and most hated it and promptly switched to the elastic. Personally, I switched to 2 welded rings and ditched the cobra (too small). Ultimately I switched to the DM carrier and couldn’t be happier. Everyone’s real use cases vary and not all carriers are the same.

I love and hate the mini cobra, when it works it's awesome. When it fights you it sucks bad. I have a lot of stuff coming for my new current FCPC so we will see what I end up doing with it!

How would you rate the adjustability of the shoulder straps on the fcpc? I have a slickster and am lookin to upgrade and am not a fan of how you adjust the slickster"s shoulders.
@RedactedGear2 жыл бұрын
Good but for smaller guys it may suck, I'm a skinny taller guy, and I had the straps tightened all the way and they just barely got to where I needed it. It would work for probably 99.99 precent of people though.
@weekendwarrior83343 жыл бұрын
I have watched a couple of other reviews on this carrier that the straps are too long to get the carrier high enough for medium stature people. How tall are you and have you experienced this?
@RedactedGear3 жыл бұрын
I also hear that a lot from people, I don’t have that issue, Im 6’ around 160/165lbs and I have no issues with the plate bags sagging

What do you use for the male end of the qasm buckle on the placard? Ferros stuff comes with the G hook but I am thinking about going with the buckles, just not sure how to attach the male end.
@RedactedGear3 жыл бұрын
Are you talking about removing the ghook?
@ryanj92453 жыл бұрын
@@RedactedGear well if need be. I just don’t know how to get the male end where the G hook is. You cannot install a regular buckle because there is no end to weave through. I cannot find any male buckles that have the slots in them like the female side. I would prefer to leave the G hook and just let it hang behind the buckle rather than permanently removing it. I would have to cut it off.

Good review. One gripe...use of the word “run”. I know it’s “tacti-cool” but you don’t “run” a tri-glide, you use it. You don’t run a red dot, you sight with it. You don’t run a certain gun or piece of gear, you use the piece of gear. You can run carrying a gun, wearing a plate carrier, using a tri-glide while sighting thru a red dot... 😂
@RedactedGear3 жыл бұрын

The use of “run” is correct, under the umbrella of “own/maintain/use”. Just like you run/execute a program or keep a device in use (Is your refrigerator running?), you can “run” a piece of gear.
@dad20223 жыл бұрын
@@BSFilms1997 LOL negative. You run a program. You wear gear or use it. I do not “run” a fork.
