Okay dhshdkdkdbf it's been like 4 months since I've been listening to this and it's like. Criminally uthiuappreciated how much thought and love went into this. Not only is this one of the better Rhythm Heaven Remixes I've ever heard, I just want to take a moment and get excited about all the little links and Easter eggs 0:01 "over indulgence is grief is only immature" You know what else is generally seen and immature? Throwing paper at a fellow classmate 0:18 "I chose to shut my eyes you chose to bear your teeth" look at that big onion smile! Bonus points for his eyes being closed, too 0:22 I'm just in love with "aa AAA" 0:25 "what's the point of pushing back against the mill / that grinds the world to dust?" Clearly a factory/machine complex/mill. And they are literally going. Into the grinder. 0:43 "but the wiser you is [free]" with the zoom out showing that baseball man is in a tiny box prison. The freedom lies beyond in the reaches of space!!! 0:46 maybe a stretch but "apethetic epitaph" seems quite fitting for soldiers blindly marching, doing as they're told. Theyre all the same! Theyre all in danger. Who are we to care for the individual 0:47 the zoom in on the seal's little face just kills me lmao I love it 0:53 "tepid autumn day is starting to thaw" in a notably winter landscape! Not to mention the axe being a good "razor blade, knife, or saw" 0:57 "I really want to scream" and scream they do. I love your use of Glee Club in this remix, they often aren't used to their full potential 0:59 "a candle burns another photograph" or perhaps a firework does! Bonus points for fireworks being both ephemeral and picturesque 1:04 perhaps here, Karate Kid is the "helpless child." "Same as before" also works well because hes been in every RH game! At the very least he shouldn't have a problem with the "grip its neck and reach my hand for the door" part! 1:10 "playing the world like a toy" and the toy in question is a soccer ball! Bonus points because this is in space (I think), so it very well could be a world. 1:16 "what do you understand? A naive little girl" could refer to the secretary/assistant. Women are often belittled in the workplace! Though, she does have a pretty placid smile in this instance. 1:22 sojdhajdkapqlen okay this is my favorite one. Not only are Blue and Red engaged in a game-like cycle, stuck between passing the ball between each other, but when a New Name, Yellow, is added to the game, the cycle ends. Yellow catches the ball. 1:31 aa AA 1:33 There's "the system running the machine"! They're building a rocket :) And yeah, you can't trick it. You need to follow the imputs you were Just Shown. Otherwise, things fall apart. (Bonus points for the marbles entering their own little halls to roam. Do they come out clean, you think?) 1:50 "and I'm fine with that, I told her" in the exclusively female group is fun! Hooray, pronouns! 1:53 great upkeep with the mechanical theme and amazing how you use the zoom for "I hear my voice as if it's really far away." 2:00 "shadow darkens under the sun" like how the sun beats down on the farmer and the plants alike. Bonus points for the sudden uprooting. Who is the sun good for , in this instance? Now someone photoshop a gun into his hands. 2:04 "an instrumenr I hear so many people play" and it turns out that instrument is the electric guitar! 2:12 not only is the toy "chained" by its stationary nature, but it reflects "breaking into a run" well with its sudden clap. 2:22 Night Walk reflects a sort of dream, doesn't it? Plus, with use of the Old Night Walk, it provides plently of bars with which to build a cage! 2:33 "walk, sit, and reprise"? How about "jump, squat, and reprise"! 2:54 the use of Launch Party here is just so good 3:09 Can't have an epitaph without dead guys! Bonus for the line being about the rejection of the epitaphs, and the minigame being about the rejection of ghosts! By shooting them in the face and body! 3:17 "break my every bone to help you breathe some more" works well in a minigame about a shared/cooperative burden! 3:20 love the final guitar matching up

this comment genuinely made me so unbelievably happy. do you know what it means to me to have something i put so much thought into be met with an analysis like this......... i will be honest that the onion one was totally by chance - i didn't realize he lined up with the lyrics like that! but other than that you pretty much nailed my intention behind all of these which makes me SO happy 😭thank you for writing this, i hope you have a great day as well!!
