FERRY CROSSING VLOG: LIVERPOOL to DOUGLAS, ISLE of MAN.

This is a ferry crossing vlog! We're on our way to Peel, in the Isle of Man, and are taking the Steam Packet Company ferry called Manannan from Liverpool to Douglas. We are a ceilidh band and we're going over to do gigs on the island.

Imo, those dragon like creatures are called Liver Birds on top of the Royal Liver Building. Legend says if they fly off, Liverpool would cease to exist. It was originally built for the Royal Alliance Assurance Group. It opened in1911 & is one building part of a group called the three Graces (Cunard Building & The Port of Liverpool Building.

My lovely dad used to sing the leaving of Liverpool, reminds me of how i 1st found u on ferry to Ireland vlog wen i was going Ireland march and had a horrible stormy crossing, poor hubby was vomiting 🤮 😊❤

My fambo. 3 children, 3 grandchildren and Brother, all go over to the IOM for a darts tournament in march. The ferry doesn't run from Liverpool that time of the year,so most fly @ £50 ish. It takes about 25 mins flying time. Have a fantastic time there xxx

I had a terrible crossing in New Zealand in 2004 from the North to the South Island plus it took about 2 hours or more due to the Ferry having to navigate around the area to get into Picton. The crossing was so rough i honestly thought the Ferry would 😮overturn.

Looked like they brought in unused plane seats to use as an eating area in the restaurant. You'd think there would be tables and chairs. Hope you didn't have to pay big bucks to travel on that ferry.. Watching you maneuvering your way through the parked cars reminded me of a time when several guys with rucksacks walked past our van, and scratched their way from one end to the other with something that was on their rucksack. We were able to get it buffed out. So after that if we were parked too close, we would open our doors so that people had to walk around the other side where there was a bit more room.
