My favourite ferry pilot Maggie - Allways gives me a smile on my face, when hearing her on our freq´s. Both when I used to work in the tower in Narsarsuaq, or now with Nuuk information.

I am inspired to make the same trip. However, my budget will limit me to MSFS. My eldest brother works for Muncie Aviation, a TBM sales/service center in Indiana. I have visited him enough to appreciate the work they do on the TBM and really love how Daher addresses issues and makes improvements. I am looking forward to my next visit to Indiana to see a new TBM 960.

Radical prop! Magnificent plane.
@planegaper6 жыл бұрын
prop has absorb 900 hp, but im guessing the pt6 is de rated from 1500 hp,.. but creates incredible torque at even normal operating conditions.. combined with the small slick airframe , it's a hot rod.. thin air at 31000 feet, a slower turning multi bladed screw at a deep pitch . with heaps of torque behind it, and you've got a very slick high altitude cruising set up.. the pc 12 is based on the same philosophy, but is much larger ( stand up cabin), so it's not as fast.. this thing will get you from NY to LA non stop at jet speeds, for far less money n fuel.. plus you don't need a jet rating, or twin engines.. night ifr rating on single turbo prop, and yer good to go..

Well done, "Working title".. Your G3000-Mod for the Microsoft Flight Simulator's TBM 930 looks really good. You'd think this was real life. Oh wait... It is...

Margrit has now reach 900 crossings!....I did some quick math, that’s roughly 1 crossing every 12 days for 30 years! 👍

Haha, "Daher TBM" works in German pretty well. "Daher" is an German adverb and means "therefor" or "because of" :)

You've wachted to many WW2 movies... ;-) But there is actually a litte connection between Magrit an WW2: Her flight instructor was Erich Hartmann. She was 17 at that time and had no idea who was sitting next to her.

Callum, it's called a ferry flight...they make stops along the way across the North Atlantic. Each airport the video shows is a refueling point.
