Sperms, apart from nucleus, also contributes centriole which is essential for completion of meiosis II. Remember meiosis 2 is arrested in metaphase ( unlike meiosis 1) This is due to loss of centriole of the oocyte after meiosis 1.When fertilization occurs sperm contributes centriole which is responsible for aster formation. Hence meiosis 2 continues. Malformation of centrosome (sperm) is associated with detrimental phenomenon at fertilization such as abnormal sperm "aster" formation which leads to the failure or lack of syngamy , resulting in cleavage arrest. Improper centrosome function may cause unexplained miscarriages.

Ah thanks sir Your comment is really a answer to the question in my mind I really had a thought like why sperm does or give to ovum that it just induces to do the secondary meiotic division

At 21:00 you indicate that there are 46 chromosomes. In truth/reality, however, even JUST BEFORE the duplication, there were 23 maternal chromosomes, and 23 paternal chromosomes, thus making 46 chromosomes, and so we have the diploidy. We dont need to wait for the duplication to occur for us to say that the now-fertilized cell is a complete human zygote. They were a normal cell even just before the duplication. I think this is an important point. The duplication is only a preparation for the two cell stage to occur from the normal zygote. Likely the two chromatid stage of each chromosome in the pronucleus is the S state of the natural interphase prior to the very first mitosis of the new human!! Would you concur? Have I misunderstood anything? Please dont misunderstand me. It is very easy for you to make a slip of the tongue or a timing in expressing a thought when you are trying to arrange hundreds of thoughts. It is very easy for me to find one issue from the hundreds of thoughts and pictures you have to get correct in making the video. So please dont misunderstand me. I want to make sure about the second para, because it is needful for us to always keep in mind the reality of what is happening.

Yes, you are 100% correct. Even before the duplication, the cell is still a zygote.
