I find huge success running sting beans with grow shroom. I prefer grow shroom to fertiliser, because it clogs a lane, and also doesn't put sting bean over the 3 attack threshold. If I'm playing against a smarty hero, I'll just keep the sting beans under 3 attack. People usually ignore the 3/4 amphibious smacking their face every turn. Gattling works great as a finisher, as well as plant food. Example of a typical game might be clique peas, sting bean forget me nuts, grow shroom. The opponant will usually be at 15hp at the end of turn 3. If you spend the next 3 turns stalling, you can take them down to 1 health instantly with gattling, or 3 health with plant food. I usually prefer waiting one more turn to get a surprise on them. But it's also quite easy to simply get that last little bit of damage in another lane, depending on how the block meter treats you.

Those 1/1 cards aren't COMPLETELY useless, yes they are outclassed, but let's say you're running a briar rose deck, so you could include bell flower. Even though morning glory is better, you can only have 4 of them.

I know this probably won't be your only example but unfortunately primal sunflower exists as a second flower and usually 8 cards is enough, for the pea keyword you obv have clique pea/primal/peapod, beans you have admiral and lima, and for nuts you have forgetmenuts/walnut. I see the vision but the only way they arent useless is if you need 12 onedrops just for the keyword but idk, they'd def be helpful for budget players in specific decks though (budget cycle cap w weenie beanie) but usually there is just not a good enough reason to run them :(
