I have a budget-friendly wireles set for my home use. I really don't like too many cables lying around to trip over and in close proximity it works fine. I find the sound begins to "warble" once the battery needs charging. Another terrific and honet demo, Jimmy!

Jimmy, thanks for sharing another cool guitar gadget. Wireless transmitter/receiver issues are usually due to line of sight transmission. When you turn around and block the line of sight, at a distance, they tend to lose connection. I've used a couple other brands with the same issues. Great for decluttering guitar cable messes at home. You can even hook it up to your pedal board, but then use a cable to the amp.

Hi Jorge…I have used different wireless systems for live performance for years, though I have to admit they were MUCH more expensive units…(think Nady in the day). These seem to work just fine as long as your range is within reason…thanks so much for watching and sharing your thoughts! 🎸👍

Good Saturday evening once again dear Jimmy. I've been thinking about some version of the Wireless Guitar System for a long time, no decision yet, I'm a little slower here. Although I received 2 guitar combos and another 5 effects this week, I'm unnecessarily traditional about this. It's already a proven development path instead of cables, I'm used to having cables hardwired to amps and I just have a lot of them already. Kind of refreshing to see you playing in a different environment for a change! 😁 It seems like they exaggerated the maximum distance, which I guess isn’t too surprising… That notwithstanding, it seems to work pretty well there in your peaceful, rural looking environment, but the REAL question is: How well will it work in a live gig at someplace like a bar? My bet is that it will NOT work as well. Most wireless systems that work in the 2.4ghz range seem to suffer from competition with 2.4ghz WiFi networks in more densely populated spaces. My bet is that it will probably work well only in home environments that don’t have densely populated 2.4ghz WiFi networks. Still, this may be enough for many people to do home practice, too.

@@zuperdee Hey PG…thanks so much for watching and commenting. Glad you enjoyed the “scenery” change…main reason was to enjoy the afternoon and test range. Funny, I have really never had an issue with interference with any of my wireless transmitters on gigs, as my band use to all be on wireless (3 guitars along with my headset vocal mic). I also did a number of live plays using up to 12 separate vocal headset units for live actors on stage. Of course, a bit different than an instrument wireless, but they usually can be set to different frequencies. Anyway, yeah…I have a ton of things running on wi-fi here, both in the 2.4 and 5 ghz range. Perhaps I need to run down to NYC and do an open mic night…😎 Always appreciate your stopping in my friend…🎸👍

@@JimmyStewart1 Yeah, I suspect it would be different in an urban environment. Very interesting-I’ve done some theater myself before, too… I think stage wireless systems are a bit different-the ones they used to use on the productions I was in mostly used UHF, I believe. One of the community theater troops I used to perform with had to replace their system due to changes in the FCC designated bands for these things, and apparently, it wasn’t cheap!

Cool beans, but I share my studio with my office and the Wifi and the 2.4GHz freq of most wireless units (I've tried 8 different brands) just don't play well together. I had to find a pair of UHF units to get them to work reliably in my environment.

@@JimmyStewart1 It doesn't interfere with your wifi - that has built in tech to minimize interference issues. Rather, your wifi traffic interferes with the guitar signal. So, in your testing, even though you were onnly using the wireless mic, any wifi signals around your house could be causing that reduction in distance that you witnessed.

Will they fit into an S series Ibanez? The shaft on most of those wireless units are too short to engage the input jack in my S series Ibanez. I have a Line 6 Spyder V 60 amp thats wireless but the G10 transmitter shaft is too short! I need a replacement and I trust Fesley to have a good product. Do you (by any chance) have an S series Ibanez to use, to try and see if that will work? Many thanks! 😁🤘🎸

They are on Amazon, and if for some reason they simply won’t work for your situation they do have a pretty liberal return policy. Or perhaps another viewer can positively confirm??
