"Yes, a big man! With an eye like an eagle And as tall as a mountain was he!" From Brazil, thank you mr. Parker....My childhood was sweeter with "Daniel Boone." Odd quality work.

A Great Conservative AMERICAN!

I knew Fess. He was nothing like what the definition of 'conservative' is today. He was just a gentle giant who loved his family, friends, God & country, but he never pushed his politics on anyone & never judged others for theirs. He didn't use fame to influence beliefs of others, like the Duke & many others. He'd resent being USED to push an agenda. Can't you just respect the kind, honest, iconic, wonderful man he ACTUALLY was? Don't stereotype what/who you don't know!

@RidgeBillie The interview's all on youtube or you can google "Archive of American Television, " bring up their website, and see this and dozens of similar interviews with television luminaries, including George Carlin, Lucille Ball, James Garner, Roy Huggins, Carl Reiner, Dick Van Dyke, Andy Griffith, Ron Howard, and on and on. A fantastic resource.
