I believe some of the voice actors have gone to the parks and posed with their corresponding face characters. I think they do it more when a movie is coming out rather than a spontaneous thing. I've seen the pictures it done with Rapunzel & Flynn Rider, Belle & Beast, and Ariel. They've probably done a lot more that's just all I've seen. For OUAT, I'm not sure...

We went to disney world for my senior trip, and while I was ok with disney I didn't think I'd enjoy it much because I am a huge thrill seeker. Parks like cedar point were more my style; however, when we walked into magic kingdom thus parade had just started, and we walked up to the top of the train station platform to get a better view. This thing blew my mind and I was so happy! I really enjoyed disney world, and I'd recommend it to anyone! (I am an 18 year old male)

Always nice to see an updated parade..the one in cali has been the same for like two years now....odd to see an aurora float and not her though, but theyll include characters most kids dont know about now adays (the little ponies from fantasia, Pinocchio, Prince Phillip and the fairies) still cute. Hope disneyland updates soon

Why is Aurora missing or am I not seeing her? If she's not there, why did they pull her out of the parade?

My theory is that she was originally supposed to be in the parade. If you listen to the music they incorporate different princess songs: Beauty and the Beast, A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes and Once Upon a Dream. They decided to create the parade last year after opening the new Fantasyland. This was way before Frozen was released and everyone fell in love with it. I think that after finding out how much people loved the movie they made a quick change and incorporated Frozen instead. Why would they include her song in the parade if they weren't going to include her. Almost everyone else featured has a part of a song from their movie incorporated. I am curious why they didn't take out Tiana and Naveen instead, but I think that might have been because they didn't include anything else from their movie and they have the whole Sleeping Beauty unit. Anyway, that's just my theory.

they pulled Aurora last minute for the popularity of Frozen. but we do say that she is still sleeping.... but the music from sleeping beauty flowed better with the tempo and theme they were going for the princess and the frog songs each have their own tempo so disney couldn't easily speed them up or slow them down and the only real love/dream song in that movie is the "Ma Belle Evangeline" from Raymond.

the parade route starts in Frontierland by Splash Mountain, goes through Frontierland and then through Liberty Square, crosses the bridge over the moat, goes around the hub in front of Cinderella's Castle, then down Main Street and around Central Plaza in front of the train station and ends by the fire station. this is the route for all of Magic Kingdom's parades.
