Ha ha....I have the same with my 009 gauge miniature layout....just not enough space for everything to fit. 8ft by 9inches with fiddle yard and analogue shuttle operated.....Thanks for your comments, Cheers..Alan.

@1:15, that's a close call. You wouldn't want to be stepping outside at that moment. 😂 @2:19, indeed it is. I have a Corgi Paisley District Tramways model with Renfrew Ferry on the destination board.

A few years ago I built a 17x2 manx layout of the manx electric railway in n gauge including DCT horse tram 18 that worked

I just wish I had the expertise to do model layouts, I tried with an N gauge layout but failed to get the scale right.....I leave it to the experts. Cheers, Alan.

From New Orleans: recognised the two Perley-Thomas cars of the St. Charles Ave. streetcar line represented on one of the layouts.

People who make model train sets seriously need to buy a book on basic electronics and read it from front to back. That investment in time will save you thousands of dollars and have a power distribution system that works great.

I studied low voltage electronics but I must confess power electricity is a whole different ball game, best left to professional electricians....electric is faster than anyone I know

Why is it that all the trams Go at break neck speed 😂Is it because if they Go slow they will stall.

I had the same impression, how they stay on the track is a wonder but they do , so the quality of the construction must be good...Thanks, Alan.

The cars that don't have driver figures need them.

Hopefully the model makers may see this and take note....Thanks for your comment...Regards, Alan.

@@mixwizard2310 I'm reminded of my father and his flying airplane models. He never put a pilot figure in the cockpit and they sure looked odd without one, especially in an open biplane. One thing my N scale layout has is a big population- having people doing various things makes it a lot more realistic. Drinking litre glasses of beer in the beer gardens (there are four) for example- well it is a model of Germany after all. I may have been to the 2018 Tram show in Manchester, maybe the year before but anyway it's a great show.

@@lawrencelewis2592 You are bringing back some of my long forgotten memories such as a control line airplane fitted with a 2cc engine...sore fingers with starting etc....The exhibitions should be on for 2022 at the GMTS Bus Museum...check their Webb pages....Thanks for your comments. Cheers. Alan.
