Join us in celebrating the festival of Saints Peter and Paul in Galatina Puglia Italy! This video is of the annual festival of Saints Peter and Paul. I apologize for the last clip of video that was at the end of the night! This festival lasts all week long and is a definite must see if you are in Italy during the last week of June. We had a great night and are ready to do it again this evening! Traveling and visiting festivals in Italy is a centuries long tradition. Thank you for sharing. I love these types of festivals these go back thousands of years and I love how the Italians keep the traditions going year after year I would love to move to Italy and witness all these festivals not only witnessed them, but to do in-depth research of what each festival means. I would love to do that all over Italy go to every festival and find out the meaning of each festival they celebrate!! I’m going to Puglia in September, but only to Lecce, since I’m gonna be there for days only I don’t wanna go all over the place and the four days I just want to be in Lecce and figure out what it’s all about!!

Hi christinehedary! You will love Lecce! There are so many festivals especially in June July and August that you absolutely could not attend all of them- after a while we need to take a break! I hope you enjoy your trip its a perfect month for city and the sea!

St. Peter and Paul, is a Catholic festivities, most fishing towns, is big celebration..is the patron of fishermen..or are the patrons

Hi renee! We got everything from Italy- the appliances here are much more efficient so it doesnt pay to bring one from the US- they call this a cooker over here and although they arent popular because of their size they are not difficult to get.

Looks so beautiful! My heart is in Italy! I am desperately trying to make an appointment for citizenship by decent. I have all my documents ready to go. It has been 3 months and I cannot get in to make an appointment. We are planning to move to Italy, but it is taking forever. Both parents born in Italy so one would think it would be an easier process. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated! Love your videos. 💕

Hi ladyp! I would definitely recommend applying here if that is possible for you- the process is different and you need all the same documents but it is processed in the comune where your parents are from. If you need a name of someone send me a pm I can give it to you! While you are waiting for your citizenship to be processed you are allowed to remain here on a permesso. hope this helps!
