You know, I reckon each has it's good points. Going fast can be just as enjoyable as going slow, as long as you know how to do both without excess. Schumacher had it right - fast on the track, drove like a Grandad on public roads. It's a pity he had that accident, but no life well lived is without it's risks, and I think he got the best out of everything.

I was born in 1976 here in the US and the old cars, engines, etc. fascinate me, always have. I love going to see what few old working mills we have here. One that makes wooden rakes to this day, has a Model T Ford engine power the saws and the dowel making machine is an old Hit N Miss engine, both original to the place. If you were to give me a choice between an all original Model T Ford and a new Ferrari, I'm taking the Ford because to me, there's more of a story to tell with that and I would love to say I had and drove one.
