Sweet Whiskey by B&BW is not a spot-on dupe for Milk by Commodity but it comes pretty close and I’m so glad they brought it back this year. And I’m also so glad you made this new channel for us fellow scentaholics ❤👍🏻

I got Milk Expressive during the sale…so I got the candle and travel spray…absolutely love!! I have the exploration kit and honestly…pretty much love every fragrance at every level!! Sweet Whiskey is one of my faves that BBW came out with this year and I’ll have to see if it compares to milk. Fireside Flurries was a disappointment this year, but they knocked it out of the park with Midnight Amber Glow, Christmas Cookie, Vanilla Mocha Martini, Cinnamon & Sandalwood and quite a few others…including Coffee & Whiskey!! VS Moon Spiced Apple and Star Smoked Amber are beautiful mists also!!

Fresh Cream to my nose smells like cream that’s gone off. This Is Her is my number 1 and to my nose smells a bit like the top of a baby’s head. I went from “I can’t with this” to “I must get this” with Angel Muse edp. You might like it since you’re into patchouli and it’s got this yummy hazelnut chocolate thing going on too. I do recommend trying the apple pie from McDonald’s 😋

Obsessed with Fireside Flurries! I only discovered it this year since I have been getting back into BBW and I stocked up. I love Lira to the point where I have a backup bottle and I only do that with discontinued fragrances (Angel Muse EDP and MJ Honey). I’ll have to try Love and Crime soon. This is Her is coming next month in my Scentbird so I’m even more excited for it after this video. I’m so exited about this second channel! I'm loving you having your own fragrance channel as well. Hmmmm Gourmands let's see...... I'm just now getting back into it. I just like something vanilla..... not too much that doesn't trigger my migraines. I like coffee scents and spicy and citrus and I love the way things smell during the holiday. Less Vanilla and more food not sure if I make sense. However Kayali Vanilla 28 might bring me back into Vanillas, dimple and to the point and doesn't give me nightmares

I didn't realize until this year that I really love scents that are gourmand, but need to have a musk or amber, or patchouli/sandalwood note to it. I also don't typically like them in candles, just in perfume. With that said, I think you'd love Bite Me from Confessions of A Rebel and Bee from Ellis Brooklyn if you haven't tried them yet. I was really surprised I didn't love Apres, Ellis's new releases have been disappointing me lately.

Hi Lauren - loving this channel! I love your beauty channel too, but glad you decided to make a fragrance channel separately. I just have to say that the Mix:Bar Vanilla Bourbon is really great for the price. The scent lasts all day on me and I never have to respray (but I do occasionally just for an extra burst of it!). I LOVE it! I want to try more from the line. I have Blackberry Tonic (awesome scent) in the body spray but really want the EDP. Also, I have Fireside Flurries too and loooooove it!

I love fresh, light scents, aquatics, citruses, etc, but EB Après is definitely my go-to this winter! I was not sure if it would make this vid since it's not so gourmand as you said. I personally don't get much of the vanilla bourbon or other sweet notes until it's been on for quite a few hours but I'm Canadian and I love the wild outdoorsy vibe it has. Also just finally got my hands on a bottle of YSL Black Opium Illicit Green so that will be my sexier winter option! I usually like to keep it light but gotta have something with a bit more oomph and intrigue for date night!

I wish my Skylar fall cashmere bottle was as full as yours... I just absolutely love it n love to douse myself in it, sooo that's why my bottle is getting pretty empty... I loveee the spicy sweetness of it..but you know what spray I love to mix with it- sol de Janeiro 62 n bum bum cream... Or bbw sweet whiskey..or fireside flurries...they all blend well with fall cashmere n just change up the vibe a little.. I love to mix my scents sometimes just to give a different vibe and to change things up! Great picks though ..lovin' the perfume channel!

Fresh cream from Philosophy is a fragrance I always end up coming back to somehow. I have this huge very old bottle of it that is one of their body spritzes which I suspect are not concentrated enough to call eau de toilettes but it lasts on me. It's just so smooth and soft and I catch it on myself throughout the day and love it. I recently acquired Commodity Milk- and love it just as much. They perform very similar functions for me; I enjoy layering them with other perfumes to get them to that softer sweeter place that just makes you go "okay I smell goood and no one could possible disagree". Fresh cream I am more inclined to wear alone than Milk- because it's just a little deeper and smoother while still being overall light and sweet. Smelling it from the bottle can be a lot but for me it softens out and lightens up on the skin a lot. I'd be interested to know more about how you pair Milk- and Fresh Cream with other perfumes because I am often overwhelmed by spicy scents but enjoy them mixed with sweeter ones. Scent pairings in general I'd also like to see more about since I am a fragrance mixology novice.

I would absolutely love if you reviewed some fragrances from Penhaligon's or Acqua di Parma. I discovered both houses when I was in Epcot in Disney world and I am OBSESSED. @@laurenmaefragrance my husband and I ended up purchasing the Colonia Club to share and I agree that it’s definitely more of a spring scent than a winter scent. It’s very green and a little musky but with notes of citrus and touch of lavender to brighten it up. While we were trying scents, they let us try Note Di Colonia V. It is also absurdly expected but I have never tried something so unique and complex and wonderful in my life. (PS I love you videos so much! Thanks for being real with us while being kind and compassionate. Not sure if this qualifies as a gourmand but I really enjoy Cuir de Nuit by Yves Rocher. It has Tahitian vanilla, cacao, pink pepper and coffee notes. Talk about mixing price ranges...I love to layer it with Tangier Vanille D'Or by Aerin. 😁 Love the idea of a separate perfume channel from you.

I got Lush Yog Nog based on your recommendation and love it!! I also recently got The House of Oud What About Pop and those two together are delicious!! I tried out fresh cream in store and I’m not sure if it was a bad bottle or what but it was the first time a perfume actually smelled rancid on me. I was not a fan, but at the same time I’ve been wearing philosophy’s fresh cream and warm cashmere scent almost every day this season to layer with. I think it has that sweetness and woodiness that i was missing in fresh cream!
