I'd also add a decadent chandelier and gold toilet paper ect, ect. Leave all the black marble. This could be a really fun project and a fun space to sit and contemplate. Forget the English Country manor in this tiny room and just create some fantasy. I bet with a small budget this room would dazzle and everyone will want to use it. I dare you....?

I love it every time Charlie wants you to like sth he did or bought you and he starts talking super fast, explaining all the reasons why it is great and why you should love it. It's adorable ( I hope you won't mind me calling him that). I love the house decor, it's nice and Christmasy without being too overbearing, tacky or "desperate".
