The RO-90 and CT-26 were my second and third Festool purchases. I was paining my home and enjoyed the ergonomics and efficiencies in preparing the fascia and eaves. I used all three modes including the Delta pad. The most versatile sander I’ve ever used. A friend had 2 Adirondack chairs to sand and re-paint. The RO-90 with dust extraction was the star of that show.

8:16 “this is non-marring”. Looks like it marred the adjacent side. Left a black line across it.

Put painters tape to protect it from maarring

This was the first sander I bought. Only thing I don’t like about it is…. It made me want more sanders. LOL. 😂😂 I have two sanders now. And there’s another that I want. I use mine for sanding furniture when I do refinishing. It’s great for removing finish, paint or sanding rough lumber. I love using the detail pad to help get into tight corners and especially drawer corners. I did. Not know I could flip the pad. Good to know. I need the hard pad!

I’ve been looking at the pricey SurfPrep sander because of its soft pad for curved surfaces. But it looks like the RO 90 can also do that and be a detail sander as well as a smaller sized Rotex/random orbital sander too. A 4-in-1 sander, but also not cheap. I had a RO 150 (until it was stolen) and it was excellent. I did replace the RO 150 with a 6” 3M Xtract for its low vibration and I love the 3M Cubit sandpaper. Overall the RO 90 looks like a very useful sander!

I purchased the RO90 last year and also the sand paper systainer because it came with a variety of sandpaper unlike the 150/5 where you can buy variety packs as with PRO LTD 125 too ( I don’t use this much ) my favorite is the 150/5 it’s always hooked up to my mini dust extractor . I’m hoping to purchase the extension pad and polishing pads too
