I hope the Festool crew is looking back at comments on older live streams. I've tried to watch this video and it is completely unwatchable with all of the video and audio lag. I thought it was my system at first so I rebooted and cleared cache and did anything else I could think of to make the lag go away. It turns out the lag is in the transmission during broadcast, not on the receiving end. Festool training, please check your copy of this this Festool Live broadcast and repost if it doesn't have lag so we can find out about your Planex products. Thanks. I look forward to watching Sedge and the crew demonstrate your awesome products ever Friday. The Domino episode helped me answer the question of which one to buy so I went out the next week and bought the DF500.

Also you should run a separator with these sanders just to save you money on the High Performance filters and for better overall performance especially on big jobs. When you're sanding inside corners with shroud off always sand opposite the spin of the sander. This will prevent skip marks in the inside corner.

Great job Sedge. I’m always impressed by how well and thoroughly you demonstrate the great breadth of the Festool system. You have thought a lot about the issues we face in the trades over a lifetime. Keep it up!

The wall absorbs all the weight until you move it to sand.. It is extremely heavy. The suction is a bitter sweet. It makes it harder to move when you use the amount of suction you want to save your shoulders a bit. Sanding walls low is so painful with festool planex. Intex has the ghost . It's 2.8kg Hilti has the best at the moment because it's lighter and 180° head. With 180° you can sand directly above

Hey! I picked up a ct48 before seein this video for the purpose of sanding the popcorn off my ceiling. Need to purchase a Planex now. Does anyone have experience with not sanding all the popcorn off? I’ve read in a couple places you can get the popcorn sanded to look like knockdown?

I'm noticing a great deal of video stuttering at the high resolutions. Audio is fine, but video is dropping frames.

That’s the beauty of live, sometimes the internet makes things a bit more exciting. 😉💚

Buy the Planex Easy. The reason? Simple the motor. Planex easy has brushless motor the original Planex is brushed and very temperamental. I have 2 Planex Easy's now and one original Planex. The old planex is only for high reach and texture removal but like I said its very temperamental I've sent it in 3 times in the past 7 years.

Sorry, but that ceiling was quite far from real popcorn texture in houses.
