Why didnt you guys just make the bases of the rts and dts hot-swappable? That would have given you the absolute edge, killer dust extraction included?

Can you use this battery programmed on dust extractor if I’m using my circular saw battery with the dust extractor. Can I use both batteries that comes with the sander programmed with dust extractor or I need to go through Bluetooth sync every time I change battery?

that corded dts 400 woudnt last very long, needed multiple repairs in the 3 year warrantee is the cordless version built better?

QUESTION: I just got my very first Festool items! These 2 sanders and the mini dust extractor. Question - How long do the batteries take to charge? I couldn't find the info on any of the literature that came with the sanders. Thank you

I love looking at the stacked Port 1000’s and 500’s. I’m still wondering how you can stack the Port 1000’s and get into them without pushing the green release button.

and why make that dust back so long? thats very annoying on the job,on ladders and stuf half the size woudld be much better on the corded version dts 400 the dust bag falls of after a few minutes of use
