my two favorite youtube groove drummers: blair sinta and carter mcclean. it's just sick watching y'all play.

Agreed - I go to this channel and Carter's for "real world usable knowledge" most often. I feel like in both cases it's about making good music, not making things that are impressive to only drummers (and I mean that in the nicest way possible).

I own the Fet Jr, but I have ordered the WA 47f, should be cool to hear the difference. Hope all is well man, great comparison.

I also have the ifet7, but how did you get so much isolation from it? Mine picks up so much of the room, cymbals, and snare. Could you share some advice on this? Thanks for the comparison video

Hey Blair, are you running these mics into an API pre?
@AdamStachelek3 жыл бұрын
First, that kit and cymbal setup is tuned and dialled in to perfection. Is that a 24/13/16 kit? What was the snare? Sorry I don't usually need to know this but man this setup sounded so good. I've got a Warm WA-47jr and this justified the purchase. Great video and the consistency in your playing in this demo is spot on.

All sound great, and are very close.........The Lauten does have the most "complete" sound, but not by a huge margin. Your old Soundelux has a bit more sub low, but not night and day, imo. My choice would be the Warm Audio, simply because it's so close to the other two, and it's $300. I couldn't justify spending over $1000 for either of the other two, just for that little bit extra.......but they are really great mics ;:-)
