If poly hydromnios present Stomach bubble if not seen there is chance of stomach atresia If amniotic fluids is normal& stomach bubble not seen then most likely normal finding but follow up advise

Sometimes the stomach can appear small or may not appear at all. This is due to filling and emptying of the stomach with fluid and it is usually normal. The stomach will be evaluated again on your next scan.

Hi doctor my 22 weeks tiffa scan reports as stomach is non visible and repeated the scans two times and 3rd scan is yet to do and in previous Tiffa scans they mentioned as ‘it may possible due to physiological nature , also mentioned esophageal and swallowing abnormalities cant be ruled rout ‘and mentioned normal amniotic fluid . Im so worried about next scan 😢

The stomach is round and duodenum is also round, as part of the Double Bubble Sign. Duodenum can be seen connected to the stomach as a tubular anechoic structure. With the help of color doppler, the umbilical arteries will be seen laterally on both sides of anechoic urinary bladder.

Oesophageal Atresia is a condition where the esophagus (the tube that connects the mouth to the stomach) does not form properly. These conditions will likely require specialized care after birth. Hello. There are various causes for a dilated stomach and it requires monitoring on further scans. This can be a normal variation as well because the stomach undergoes cycles of filling and emptying throughout the pregnancy. Other pathological causes include esophageal atresia and duodenal atresia. But if these occur there is usually associated polyhydramnios
