As an avid Hawkeye and I was a season ticket holder to the Football games for 36 years "until a debilitating rare muscle disease" I am now homebound. So being able to watch her grow and being able to learn the game more has given me much enjoyment in some of my bad days. Then I found Venom, and what a joy. He brings me so much joy and I can't count the times I have laughed out loud. What a blessing from both.🥰

Development coach Keith Porter said earlier this week that Caitlin works out & does training / development 5 days a week at this point in the offseason. The best players aren’t just good magically. They put in the work. Then after that they put in more work when everyone else is done for the day.

I hope so. I think she was a victim of the style change that CC brought. Watching her play in the Unrivaled league seems to show she’s made the transition. She seems to be a little slimmer and she’s producing for her team even with fewer minutes than the starter. I don’t mean to be improper but I think she’s a pretty young lady.

I look at signing Janelle Salaun for the 4, or 6th covering the 3, 4, or even the 5. Defensively she's an upgrade over Smith. Offensively she's a versatile upgrade over Smith. Maybe I offer Smith and the 8th pick for Sabally, although I don't really see too much I get with Sabally that Salaun can't provide. Salaun also isn't the injury problem that Sabally is. Maybe I would talk to Atlanta or Seattle instead. Or even the Liberty or Lynx. Trade Wheeler for the hot dog vendor and a 2nd round pick. Berger should have been the backup for both guards last year anyway. Samuelson has had one meh game and one decent game in unrivaled. The jury's still out on her. Wheeler is expecting to get a max contract, and she won't get one. I might consider a player/coach thing with Taurasi, if she quits being a beyotch. She has to know she's not going to command max contract money as a player at 42.

Of course! Spot on about her drive and work ethic, that's what sets her apart and why she has earned everything she has achieved. She's a consummate gym rat. Truth, Caitlin does see the floor like a veteran because of her court vision. Caitlin, Connor, Ty and Jade all hang out together as friends. It's great for her to have that support connected to pro ball, aside from her teammates. She and Ty's games are so similar in so many ways it's crazy. The fact that they also both ended up playing for Indiana coming from Iowa colleges is wild as well. I appreciate that they can both be super competitive with their elite court vision while playing, but can also be equally goofy off the court to help keep them grounded.
