If you are having trouble with water purifiers.
Make sure all your aid is moved into a separate container.
Water should spawn in the workbench around every 30 mins you spend away from Sanctuary so normally 1 or 2 missions and the water should spawn.
Also make sure all fillable items are removed from the junk tab, this includes nuka cola bottles, milk bottles, beer bottle etc. Sometimes this can effect water spawning.

It's a decent build, but you forget a crucial element to mention (and to add to your build) : when doing the nuka world quests, alienating the disciples will let you collect both the perks from the operators and the pack. The one from the pack gives a ridiculous damage resistance boost of 25% (not raw DR, % damage taken), and an increase in melee of 25%. The perk from the operators give you a 25% damage boost for silenced weapons (and a useless stealth boost i don't care about). Both can create a monster character, and if you do it BEFORE talking to Preston in Concord, you aren't locked out of his perk either. Also, as a build idea, you should make the "turtle" build : 10 END (11 with SPECIAL mag), 10 INT (for PA perks, XP and science), no strength at the start because you get 11 STR from the power armor. I recommend to get 4 perception and no more for the lockpicking. With the 3rd person animations from fighting in PA, the 2 handed weapons swing much faster, allowing you to obliterate almost anything in a few hits, even without the melee perks. Improving the starting T-45, before collecting the T-60 from the knight, or the Quantum PA allows you to bypass the need for armorer until the mid game. If you deem it necessary, armorer isn't hard to get in the tree, and unlocks the melee perks for massively increased damage.

Heavy weapons only is one of my favorite runs I’ve done. Excited to see your take on a heavy weapons build. One small tip of optimization: if you build a crafting station (like Nuka cola station) on the bridge at Sanctuary, you can drop off all the junk from Red Rocket there instead of walking all the way to the workbench.

Fun fact the charging barrel of the Gatling lazer actually fires faster if you constantly switch between aim and hip fire (outside of first person that is)

Seeing him limp around in the video gave me an awesome idea for a roleplay build. If you can get a mod that lets you keep your legs permanently crippled, you could do a build where your character has some kind of disability and relies soley on power armor for their strength and mobility.

Tips for a modern play: The Enclave Quest power armor its Broken as hell, you can get that armor if you dont want the other one, or dont want to clip through the glass You also can get the Tesla Cannon

Have you ever considered doing an aid build guide? There’s a lot of overpowered aid items in this game just waiting for you to mess around with. Some to make note of: Yao Guai Roasts, Mysterious Syrums, Berry Mentats, Calmex, and grilled Gazelle + Radstag at the same time.

A tip with the Aeternus - when your fusion core runs low, just change weapon and use that until your core ejects and you get a fresh core, then re-equip aeternus. it seems if you use the aeternus when the core runs out, a fresh core is put in and immediately drops to 10%, another bug probably. just wanted to save people some confusion!

Pro tip. Charging barrels on gatling laser is a significant nerf to your DPS over the standard barrels.

If you don't have far harbour you can get the broadsider it's not as good as the harpoon gun but it's ok
