Arjun ""God Engine" Erigaisi. What to say about this guy? Insanity behind the artist? Brilliance amongst the madness? I mean moving his king in the middle of the open board with not a single pawn infront when everyone thought (maybe even gukesh?) that he would just safely tuck it behind the pawns. This was Arjun's "ya'll must have forgot moment" He was having a bad tournament and just casually DESTROYS both guys who were neck to neck for the lead AND undefeated with such ease. In back to back games too! AND not only did he hand the world champ his first classical defeat as champion, he did it with the black pieces too. Absolute insanity this guy. I am really really really hoping we see him in the Candidates.

Gukesh is of the mindset to play for a win . Unlike some other players that accept draws time after time it seems. Being he was in the lead in this last game of tournament he was probably thinking ‘I’m just going to play my game and try to win as usual’ I guess he would be thinking that since Pragg could possibly overtake him with a Pragg Victory unless Gukesh won his game . Seeing how this game went Gukesh’s best chance to win the tournament was when Arjun Queen was on h3 and Gukesh Queen on f3 a queen trade at that point might’ve been his last chance to at least draw the game . Ok just a sucky way to lose a tournament but Gukesh has played great and has represented well . Thanks for the game Agadmator

You have put unrealistic expectations on Gukesh because he is “World Champion”. Anyway Bottomline is we know Magnus is the best player in world the most consistent . I’m a Gukesh fan and root for him against anybody . But I sure as hell don’t expect him to win every game you should recognize One the dude is leading and had great chances of winning this tournament and still does since now Pragg has lost his game but even it Gukesh doesn’t win Tata he did Great
