У меня стволы при таком расположении сгнили. Лучше прорастали, когда цветоносы ставила вертикально (в пластиковой бутылке). Если нет клея, можно концы цветоносов обмакнуть в расплавленный воск или стеарин.

If you select subtitles: It says: "healing glue" and "lime powder". I guess it's a kind of paste that's used for sealing pruning wounds of trees and big shrubs. You can buy lime grains and make powder of it with a mortar. I have my doubts about this method; by glueing the ends you seal them and they don't lose water but cannot take up water anymore. I think this has to be possible for the stem just like cut flowers. So leaving the bottom end open would be more logical. There are so many doubtful methods here on KZbin shown. For Phaleanopsis is most times used keiki paste smeared on nodes while the branch (stem) is still on the plant. For Dendrobium it's easier. They sometimes use rooting powder on the ends of the cuttings; they say it's for desinfection. ? Best regards!
