Сваривать можно только арматуру класса А400 или А500 с индексом «С». Если такого индекса в маркировке нет, производится только стыковка арматуры внахлест без сварки. Такой металл при сильном нагревании серьезно теряет в прочности и становится менее устойчивым к коррозии, что может привести к разрыву или деформации соединения в процессе эксплуатации железобетонной конструкции. Нахлест же при сварном соединении зависит уже не только от диаметра арматуры, но ещё и от её класса: протяженность шва для стержней А400С должна составлять не более 8 диаметров; для А500С - не более 10 диаметров. Шов показаный в видео брак. У нас на работе за такое художество, увольняют.

Building elevated roads in Melbourne in the late 90's/2001 we had to brace these huge pylons which you could stand inside of when layed on their side in the jig. These pylons had vertical bars, up to 36mm thick, either single bar, doubled up or in clusters of 3 at 100mm to 120mm intervals that were welded to 3-4 interior steel reo rings so we braced the fuck outta it in case they collapsed. Back in the day we didn't need a welders ticket, the test was that you welded along one vertical bar to the interior rings, then the foreman would get the crane operator to pick the whole pylon up from the jig at different points along that reo bar you welded to the interior rings and if any one of your welds snapped you went back on the nips tying the bars. Welding flat looking down like video was easy but looking up with the slag dripping all over you wasn't. Welding these pylons was an awesome job in the winter but in the summer with all the gear on it was hot as fuk. Good times....👍

Here in the USA were governed by AWS D1.12 for structural & D1.8 on Bridge work . The cert for rebar is required, especially on the west coast due to seismic activity. The test is taken on no.4 bar with 8018 horizontal/vertical/overhead. NDT & visual to pass

Ну.вырой канализац трубы .можен плохо соединили. Столбы для забора сними~может раствор плохой.Полы скрипят.тоже что~то придумай. Да.и придёться весь фундамент менять.а арматуру постарайся найти из нержавейки и цемент хороший. Бойся только под обломками дома не оказаться

It's not lol video just made it look special. Fyi never do this if you are building something that requires actual integrity. Both ends of that weld are now the weak points in that piece of rebar. Where as the rebar would just bend or stretch under too much load now it will simply snap in two.

@@vittocrazi ok so if you are just pouring a little pad to sit your bbq on it something this is totally fine to do. Little home projects and such welding this stuff together is fine. I wouldn't use this on my drive way or something like that with tons of weight then add in the eventual shifting of the ground you will get a break in your concrete outside of your expansion joints. I would absolutely never use welded rebar in a slab wall or anything that requires integrity. But for your initial question no butt welding it would not be stronger. If you are short on rebar in your pour I'd advise tie wiring a few pieces to bridge the gap over welding it. The solid concrete will keep the grooves pressed together without having to weld it.

I have layed 1000's of feet of rebar. Never had to weld it yet! Must be a new technique.

Welding it makes it brittle. I did this 30 years ago and the stuff eventually snaps somewhere in the welded area. If you choose to weld it, make sure you tie it together in places that have not been welded. That said, IRON rebar should be discontinued in most applications and use FIBERglass rebar instead. Primary reason is that IRON rebar in concrete is responsible for most cracking (RUST = expansion = crack) 7/16 FIBER has same strength as 1/2 IRON and weighs about 1/20th so you can easily carry a whole bundle instead of a few pieces.

Нет единого мнения. На заводе кто бы ее вязал. Под сваи сваривают два прута вместе иначе ахуеешь ворочить целиковый прут. На стройке проще держать десять вязальщиков чем десять сварщиков и десять сварочных аппаратов плюс снабдить эти аппараты подобающей электроинергией. И нихуя она не ломается возле шва, пиздешь. А когда на заводе прокатывают арматуру и остается кусок ни туда ни сюда, его по твоему выкидывают? Сваривают в торец с новым прутом путем нагрева и сжатия

Мало кто знает что арматура не варится, а вяжется!!! Есть проверенный способ для таких советчиков: отрезать 80-90 сантиметров арматуры,у кого какая найдется,обхватить полученный отрезок у основания обеими руками и резким ударом с достаточным запахом приложить советчику перпендикулярно хребта,да с оттяжкой :-)

Достаточно сделать нахлест на 20 диаметров и получится равнопрочное соединение без сварки. Другой стособ - ванно-шовная сварка постоянным током, + на электрод.

False. Low alloy rebar can be welded, it usually comes marked with a W for that very purpose. The only reason rebar is usually not welded is because it makes the concrete crack because it has less give due to a much stronger joint, the rebar will not crack, it'll be fine. If we would follow that dumb logic to it's conclusion then steel beams could also never be welded, bicycle frames could never be welded, gun components could never be welded, and so on... Why would it be stronger to tie rebar with wire than welding it? Ever asked yourself that? It's not, and that's the whole point.

Don't weld rebar like this it creates massive problems in it's usefulness in earthquake zones. You should have both ends beveled and you tack weld a backing plate, to be ground away when done, to the sections to be welded. Then you do a tack weld where the two points almost touch. After that you want to do layered welds going across the gap, NOT in line with the gap, fill the gap making sure to weld further out on each side of the bar. Do yhit till the gap is filled. Once filled you can cut the excess weld and backplate away then all you have yo do is use an angle grinder to grind and shape the welded portion to the same thickness and shape or the rebar. It takes longer then what is demonstrated but it is the correct way to weld rebar.

Did that once welded rebar. Went to go bend it, it snapped right where I welded. You ruin the flexibility of steel if you heat it up then let it cool quickly. Any joints like that you want it threaded rebar
