as you and defyn said, the gripen is meant for very aggressive playstyle. the amount of countermeasures it can carry alone can bait out the entire enemy team while ur team has enough time to push up

could you do a video with the f15j? I have been struggling to get any kills in it especially since the new br changes, plus I keep getting uptiered to 13.7 for some reason so its painfull to always worry about Aim 120s

Do you zoom climb up after achieving Mach on the deck? Or just the plane in a 15 degree climb with full AB at the start until you get to like 7km

The former. Its more efficient to reach mach or even mach 1.10 then climb.

Depends on the preference. Gripens with amraams are more suited for long range engagements, while gripen with derbys - for close/middle range. For me, sa gripen is definitely better, because gripen only has 4 fox 3s, so wasting any missile is very undesirable and long range engagements have less probability of hit. Also, close range playstyle is much more suited for gripen and derby's better maneuverability and acceleration helps immensely in jousting duels
