You need to find and talk to him in liurnia to continue his quest. Then in volcano manor he decides to leave and you find him in Jarburg, which leads to the conclusion of his story which i wont spoil. I dont know the conditions of him going to jarburg though. He is the easiest npc to miss

As a Fromsoftware fan I always do my first playthrough going “blind and no build” because for me 1st time is sacred 😅 but man after beating the game for first time and see all this videos, compared to previous titles, I felt like I only did 10% of the game 😂

With elden ring it REALLY did feel like that I also go in with the "I want a big sword build" in my mind and just CRANK the absolute FUCK out of strength, I might look up one weapon but that's about it(unless I need direction and haven't found it in days like with ds2 my first time), it's just more fun to do it that way and after you can try to make a game breaking build or something, but I just don't find those fun and makes are FAR too difficult for me because of how I build them, I like max damage and spells, which often makes me a cannon that's easier to break than glass, I would get one tapped by some of the weakest enemies outside of the tutorial...

If anyone struggles to beat Malenia solo, their weapons are the best against her. Especially if you have two of them. One from the younger brother’s quest. The other from defeating his older. The whips are bleed and have longer range than Malenia’s blade and can attack her out of her range. If you can’t outskill her, you outsmart her.

Juno and Diallos' story always gets the tears going. A big brother who did all he could to provide for his younger, but his younger only seeing his weaknesses and failures, and doing everything he can to prove he's just as capable as his elder, only to continuosly fail, alienating himself from any comfort he had, all while his elder can only pray for his brothers safety. Im just glad Diallos was able to make himself a man of some merrit before his death.

The example in the intro gave me extreme flashbacks. For me it wasn't something expanding but rather getting smaller, feeling like the object (most of the time of undescribable shape, feeling like Lovecraft rn) getting away from me into a black void, with that I also had feeling like I was falling every time the object got further. I guess the emptiness is what scared me the most while the only object was getting away. The chaotic sound is spot on exactly like from the dream man. Once it was a ball in the middle of my room expanding and the only way I could fight it was to scratch it with a tooth pick (oddly specific I know). This one was really weird and more of a hallucination but I remember siting on the bed with my mom and and still seeing it around me for some time. Other time it was two rectangles next to each other evenly on a wall and suddenly they started to take over each other's teritory. After some time I fell asleep more and more and it seemed more like two nations in a war than geometric shapes. Later it became just dream about fighting in war (probably because I grew up playing old MW CoDs) and I stoped feeling so uneasy. I guess I had more "variety" but these I remember the most. Also had these when I was sick idk if other times as well but I do remember not wanting to go to sleep when I was sick because I knew what's coming.

You know, it's crazy how Mogh the literal lord of blood and The House of Hoslow (actual blood knights) never came into contact with each other. You'd think that The House of Hoslow wouldn't mind following Mogh and Mogh certainly wouldn't mind having blood knights that are extremely skilled in afflicting bloody pain to others.

@@hainguyn948 I think that the Hoslow family mantra means both literal blood and dying for something bigger than yourself because in the lore the Hoslow family is almost fixated on causing they're opponents in times of battle as much pain as possible and making them bleed. That's why their primary weapons are Petal Whips, that's also why the family mantra mentions that "the tale of House Hoslow is told in blood" because they mean it metaphorically and literally. The House of Hoslow also seems like they don't really get into conflicts unless it's for a "righteous cause" or for revenge, they seem very honorable and knight-ish.

Lord of bloods exultation, you can kill diallos but idk if you can get the second whip that way. Use the basic blood whip and do diallos questline. Or make two characters and find diallos and liurnia and kill him, then give them to your friend and have them drop the two whips for you. Then just level arcane and dex to their soft caps with vigor and endurance. Use whatever talismans you want, but lord of bloods is the best

There’s a theory I really like which is that the honored house of Hoslow is defended from the greater potentates (explaining their privileged position and their family use of whip weapons). And so Diallos becoming the modern bc pension of a potentate (protecting the sentient warrior jars vs. mutilating shaman to put in them) and dying for their protection is poetic in a way. They’re probably based lorewise around Stormveil. I don’t have any proof just that it makes sense to me as Hoslow doesn’t look like they’re from Leyendell, the Volcano Manor clearly didn’t have close connections, meaning they likely weren’t that close geographically. And I can’t see them being near the Scarlet Rot lands. So, like, just anywhere where there’s green forests is probably where they’re at.
