Something to note about Shinra Blade compared to Heavy Hausser: They have the same R abilities maxing out at 40/36, But HH is more Phys focused, and SB is more Magic focused. At max OB10 lvl 90 HH has 518 Patk 441Matk, and SB has 470 Patk 530 Matk.

Using Somersault would be more beneficial since defense down for all DPS units. While Waterkick has a larger one time damage, the cumulative effect from defense down for when Tifa also does a regular attack would be higher overall.

That ob10 mad minute is doing wonders for you. I’ve had my tifa built the same way as you, but I have 2k less hp and can’t squeeze in that extra ability pot

It took all 63k blue gems I had to get OB6 guide gloves. I missed out on her and Cloud’s ff9 crossover outfit and weapons so I’m pretty excited to finally have a good non elemental dps🤩🔥🔥🔥

I decided not to pull for her Crossover because it's a limited event weapon and I don't want to dump a bunch of Crystals. My best Tifa setup is Amarant outfit, Amarant Claws, Sonic Strikers, Bald Eagle, Zidane Sword, and Black Whiskers. Gives me 9505HP and 3270PATK. I can also swap out to main hand Oven Mitts which boosts overall power to 90956, 9505HP and 3385PATK. The tradeoff is Physical Ability Potential goes down

My current best Tifa DPS build is as follows: Main weapons: Guide Gloves(OB5), Amarant's Claws(OB1) Sub weapons: Mad Minute(OB7), Heavy Hauser(OB10+1), Arctic Star(OB5) Stats w/o Materia: HP 7272, Patk 3014 R.abilites: Boost Patk lvl 6, Phys stance lvl 7, Boost HP lvl 3, Boost ATK lvl 3, Boost Abi pt lvl3, Buff Ext lvl2, Phys stance mastery With my highest % atk materia, her stats become: HP 7617 Atk 3491. But I usually run a different Materia that makes her HP 7851 Patk 3485. So, lose out on 6 atk but gain almost 240 hp seems like a fair trade. I'm sure I will get asked: Why Arctic Star? All my stances get maxed out easy and with the Buff ext for No Mercy I am able to get 1 cast of No Mercy, and 4 casts of Zangan Fist before the buff wears out. This combo allows me to do roughly 10k more damage than just casting 5 Zangan Fists, and that's only with Mid att buff. And once I can get Arctic Star to OB6, I will be able to cast 1 no Mercy and 5 Zangan Fists before the buff wears out. If I put on my best equipment to emphasize as much Atk as possible her stats are: Patk 3907, HP 6831, Boost Patk lvl7, B. Phys Abi pot lvl 6, Boost HP lvl 2, Boost ATK lvl 3, Boost Abi pot lvl 3, Phys Mastery. But overall my first build is dealing about 2k more damage than any of the other builds, which may not seem like a lot but 2k damage is 2k damage.

When I see these numbers, I might have to rethink my plan... I actually planned to skip the current event banner because I don't actively play Tifa. I usually just draw 1-2 times to maintain the weapon in some way and that's it. In this particular case, I was hoping for a Sephiroth banner and wanted to save up for it... Now that Zack and Matt are coming next (both of whom I play even less than Tifa), I'm thinking about whether I should continue until Tifa's costume - especially since I was so lucky with two draws that I ended up with 6 /12 - or whether I continue to save in the hope that the banner after next has something in store for me 🤔

I think that: guide gloves amaranth claws ultimate pumpkin lamp post aonibi It is a good balance of damage and life to make it have very good damage I wish we had a better HP and Ability potency weapon focused more on the physical to change the aonibi

If you want more HP, you can substitute something with Mad Minute. Best Hp boost and phys stance boost in the game.

Bonjour Monsieur Payne, Sadly I cannot play Ever Crisis anymore because I cannot get rid of the infinite loading screen. I have tried everything and the tech support say they cannot help me because I cannot access the game at all as it goes straight to infinite loading screen. 400 hours of playing and 50$+ gone...

I had the same infinite loading issue because my computer crashed while i was in the middle of a battle. if you also crashed in the middle of a battle, let me know since its an easy fix by deleting the file created to resume the battle

she does good ice damage tho since she has physical ice arcanum . i think every character will get their time to shine , also unless you have ob6 amarant claws i wouldnt even use it as her second weapon . that mid tier boost is so wasteful most of the time . in bahamut ex2 i cant even clear it when im wasting atb on amarant claws and not using her actual dps attacks

I disagree with the notion that it's "not even close" -- Cloud with Zidane Sword and the gear from that event is pretty comparable. You're going to lose ten points PATK to HP and get Phys Ability Pot instead of Mastery, but those are still very much needed attributes for dealing with most content, so you aren't *really* losing a ton to the gear. Meanwhile it's slightly easier to get to 55 Phys Ability Pot points because you have ten from the gear. Every ten points is effectively another level, so really the difference if you don't have everything maxed out already is just 5% (since the difference between levels at 5-7 is 10% per level) -- Tifa can just go a little higher if you have a situation where she doesn't need to worry about HP/def/resist very much. Now... it might be worth checking if the 15% from Phys Ability Mastery applies multiplicitively with phys ability pot or if it applies additively, because that *would* make a significant difference (+80% + 15% = +95% while +80% * +15% = 107% -- but I'm not sure if we have the answer to that yet. Realistically though we are talking about a maximum of a 15% damage advantage over Cloud and you probably need an extra weapon to get there. Now sure, you can throw in Amarant Claw on top of that and then Tifa becomes insane for the ability to solo amp herself up further, but there are a couple problems with that... 1. You'll be doing better if you *don't* have your main DPS spending ATB buffing themselves and having another character who isn't the DPS do it instead like Glenn or Yuffie 2. For a F2P player/minnow/sturgeon, you probably *didn't* get a ton of both of these weapons and don't have the spare weapon parts lying around to max out two of them. (I for one maxed out guide gloves and skipped Amarant all together) So yeah, all in all I'd say it *is* close. You've got Cloud in a close second place who can't quite hit as high of highs but is well situated to be just as good once you spread out the points you didn't need from his gear to other things and you've got Glenn with ultimatic in 3rd right now... Zack meanwhile is probably going to take either spot 2 or 3 when his new banner hits and depending on how that goes he might even be able to outdo a Tifa with just guideglove and no Amarant Claw. Either way though as long as you have one of these 1200+% / 4 ATB moves you're in really good shape and for pretty much all content they'll be interchangeable.
