Super cool looking costume but I'm going to be looking at a couple reasons why I think that this banner might just be super ultra skippable! Let's check it out! Thanks for the videos ... I think from now on if its not limited then dont pull unless you want the costume, then hope to just get it overtime. I ob6 his lb weapon so would be great but from now on im pulling only when you pulling because it only makes sense and i trust your opinions over others

Okay, as someone who has none of Vincent's arcanums, perhaps I can weigh in regarding the possible use of this costume. Yes, Vincent is mostly a dps character, but he can be built as a debuffer, which as how I, as someone who doesn't have any of his main kit use him: he has matk/patk down weapon and he has earth debuff, for example. During anni I did pull the Genji blade, but if I hadn't had the foresight to pull a copy of Kuja blade during the FFIX rerun, I'd be forced to forego the Genji and go with Vincent as sub-dps with his patk/matk debuff wep and Hugin and Munin against Bahamut Alba. Not a mainstream use of Vincent, but he can be used as debuffer in certain scenarios.

Yeah for sure. That's what i was saying if you don't have his Arcanums is this costume will have its value for sure. But to anyone who does have those arcanums, it just gets less value i feel. Thanks for sharing mate

@BodhiJMSRyder Yeah, if you have his arcanums, it's silly to use him as debuffer, so no need to pull on this. That said, I won't pull for this either as his gear costume works well enough for that purpose, and most of the time I prefer Sephiroth in that role bc Genji. For this battle ranking, for Sephy I can take Bramble Spine that does damage and debuffs, Kuja blade if applicable plus Genji perks. While all Vinny could do here is debuff. In fact the last time I used Vinny was... Well, weapon rally tbh 😂 With Sephy as sub-dps debuffer 😂 And before that it was that magic earth guild battle, it was the first one, I think 😅 So yeah not much use for Vinny boy unless you got his arcanums. You could pull for this if you use him a lot in this manner though, but like a lot lot, if he's your staple debuffer or smth. But that's a small subset of people, I think. I'm waiting to see Cid, and after that I'll probably continue to pull on the girls' banner to try and get both costumes as I already pulled for Crimson Staff and got more chance to complete that banner then start a new one.

May be random but, I just realized that if you click the banner picture, it will quickly skip to the next thing they're going to show instead of waiting for it to cycle back. I thought that was kind of cool. I am definitely pulling on Cid's banner. And, if I have to, I'll mercy Tifa's Ult. weapon, too. I'm already pulling on Cid's banner anyway, and then I'll be off by a few anyway, may as well just mercy it, then. I'm wondering if Cid might get an arcanum? Maybe earth? He'd pair very well with Vincent then, if so.

Yeah i wonder what Cid will be. Tbh i feel like we have enough DPS chars, Cloud and Tifa outshine everyone mostly, so i think Cid being something other than damage focused would be cool.

Monster Hunter Wilds comes out in February so I would not be surprised if they have a Monster Hunter crossover around that time or later.

I wonder when we will get their 4th limit break? I actually wished I could have gotten this costume rather than the Christmas outfit for Vincent. I'm saving for Cid and then Barret's costume in February

Maybe we get Aeriths 4th limit break first this month or with the next character release in april because, you know, of story reasons but for the other characters I don't see their 4th limit breaks coming soon earliest after FF7 chapters reach the story after north crater

His Christmas outfit is better though. Fire arcanum is more valuable on Vincent than a support costume. I'm actually happy I got it instead of this one.

@@bonni4493 Yea, I'm feeling a lot better about my choice. I do like the look of the new outfit though, but really Vincent looks good in just about every outfit he has.

Vincent was my second favorite character behind Cloud and I still haven’t gotten a costume for him because of the timing. This is BY FAR the best looking costume imo. Now that I have the gems this is sadly the easiest skip I’ve seen in a while. 🤦🏾‍♂️

Yea cause he has great weapons. I skipped his fire/lightning which was pretty good. But this weapon is great to mdef down all enemies but Aerith can do that but better now. So it's another skip. Just gone keep sticking to Tifa (main), Aerith and Yuffie the three goddeses of FF7. If they ever give Lucia an Arcanum I nab it but they never gone give her anything else like they did Glenn water build still holding till this day

@ Yeah I want to have a banner costume for every character at some point in time, but at this rate it could take a while. I have the recent Matt costume. With the Titan summon here we can expect some earth arcanums very soon. Hopefully Glenn will get one

I think it’s mostly for the current rankings as a lot of banners they release tend to focus on that. The earth buff probably makes that huge tank ridiculously easy. So it feels like a whale banner mostly. That being said, I’m skipping cuz I don’t care about top 10 or even 20-100 really. I’ll add the weapon to my wishlist for when a wind summon comes out though.

@@DamonCarter-i5p But it only helps if you have White Dog at which point you’re using the LB costume and not this costume. I understand the point of the weapon, but it only goes with one specific kit and that kit overrides the need for this costume. I’ll definitely WL the item, but the costume doesn’t really fit for him / not with this item. You’d have to want to use this costume and none of his other DPS weapons and ignore this weapon that comes with it.

I think they just did this costume as a whatever to give him one of the def and ext options like a lot have been getting-since this is obviously a white dog kit off hand. The weapon is a better off hand than Chiron - turns him into a self buffer like water boy and bunny and now Seph can debuff with blue bramble . I’m a little disappointed the self buffing is 4 atb (slay bunny and military sword are all 3 atb weapons) - but it seems like they justify the extra atb cost by making it mdef down all enemies instead of single target. The r abilities 62/39 are nice making it easier to hit matk 7 with his earth build but im still finding the build a little clumsy unable to hit mag abt pot 7 like i always like - but earth 9 instead of 7-8 is a good trade off I guess xd. I used sawed off, hugs gun, and razor ring in the back . I got the new weapon ob8 I have weapon parts to finish it but won’t do it unless things become dire to hit top 20 in this ranking- ooo the ranking is pretty tough this time the materia guardian in particular doesn’t play around xdd😂

P I M P Vincent PS: the costume is amazing for people who didnt pull for vincent so far, but are using spellgunshower (patk/matk down aoe) + Earth Imperil for a magic earth imperil supporter I believe besides Vincent there is only Angel who can imperil earth... so that makes this costume kinda reasonable. Still while i am one of those players, i wont go for this costume just for a earth imperil, which i hope i will get on any of my main imperil characters PS2: which sane person would pull before tifa advent children costume? i mean i only have like 7 tifa costumes so far... its about time to get another limited costume for her ps3: its not the issue of not being able to perform without limited banner gear, its more of a problem...if you go for a limited banner.. you might lose all value of this banner in a couple of weeks..... i mean.. who is using ff9 collab ob 10 these days? who is running cowgirl tifa? and WHO is running beatrix sword zack? there are very rare exceptions, so busted, they last for multiple months *cough* bahamut cloud *cough* but yea... i had it happen way too often that i went for a ob6 limited weapon and a couple weeks later i wouldnt find any place for it and BOOM powercrept by the next tifa/aerith/cloud banner (looking at you Fire Mage Zack)

All good points, though Sephiroth is also an Earth Imperiler, and although some Limited gear falls off, I still have some that are great to this day (Zack Fire/Cloud Ice/Aerith Kamura) etc ~ We all knew the Beatrix sword was a scam, so yeah i never would have come close to pulling for that, but yeah i feel what you're saying.

It might, though i'm not sure, but typically once that limit break goes off, someone can just keep upping the duration like Aerith so don't really need it
