I'm still confused why Cloud is separated from the party in this intro. This is right after the events of remake 1, right? So why is Cloud with Zack, and why does it look Zack is carrying Cloud back from when they were on the run, which was a couple of months before the events of FF7?

I’m so confused, does that mean everyone else from the main team is dead in Zack’s universe? Also if it’s parallel worlds how is there another Cloud? They just mentioned the fugitive being an “ex soldier with a buster sword.” Literally no one else fits that description.

@@waayneinteressierts9704 The fugitive they’re referring to is the one who caused the “tornado” in Midgar. That was the fight with Sephiroth that cloud was in. They couldn’t have been referring to Zack because technically he “died” before that.
