Not sure what the devs were thinking when it came to the mini games in this title.. I’m now part of the .1% to plat this title but the only thing I will take away from Rebirth is how much I disliked / how bad some of the mini games were. That’s all I think about when someone brings up Rebirth.. not the story, not the gameplay, just the terrible dev choices regarding mini games. I did enjoy the story elements so it’s unfortunate that I leave this game with a negative impression.

@@mangomariel I know and I honestly don’t mean to sound like I am being overly negative about the game; I did enjoy most of it. The mini games aren’t optional if you want the plat or even max out your weapons. Some I don’t mind but I feel like resources could have been directed elsewhere. I mean, take out 10 mini games and throw in a transmog for weapons / more outfits and it would extend the replay by quite a bit. As a FFXIV player we know that glam is the true end game. lol simply my opinion though, I have nothing against those that feel otherwise.

@@jaysea838 you just said all you think about is the "terrible minigames" that are optional, while you can`t think about the other aspects of the game like the story, attention to detail, music, visuals. (which is obviously very high quality) Getting platinum is a choice, you do not have to do it. Sounds to me like you chose to focus on an optional part of the game that you don`t like. Just to get a trophy no one cares about. Sorry, that sounds weird. Sure some mini games were a bit annoying, but most of them were fine. And optional. I don`t expect a game this massive to be perfectly fit to my niche taste in every area. And I would rather have mini games then transmog. I could agree that theoretically resources could have gone from one part to another part. For example cait sith side quests at the expense of cutting moogle shrooms, and tower collection? But in hindsight that is always the case for every single game ever made. Nothing is truly 100% perfect. Also your comment on this video? idk I think desert crush was pretty cool. Maybe you just don`t like mini games? that`s ok, they are mostly optional.

@@mangomariel The fact that mini games are "optional" is a dumb argument to make. It does not negate how poorly designed a lot of them are. And not all of the mini games are optional by the way. The are some that you have no choice but to do, like throwing boxes in Shinra Manor. And like Jaysea said, things like weapons and important items are gated behind mini games. While they are technically optional, you are going to be underpowered if you don't do them.

Cheers. This works really well. It is actually kindof fun to just go all out at 1 minute and have the heroes one shot big guys or towers, and overwhelm the boss with trebuchets and whatever is left

Best guide for this. For other ones if you were even off for a second or put them just slightly off for their spawn you would lose. Here I made mistakes or rushed or waited but still won

The idea is sound. For those who need more help: - Playing on Easy Mode will charge the ATB much faster - You can save the Trebuchets to be placed in front of the enemy main tower. This will allow them to continuously attack the main tower (very helpful for 3rd and 4th fight) - Start charging in the 4th fight on the right lane earlier, before even the last beast enemies on the left lane spawns. This gave me enough leeway to setup by trebuchets to continuously hit the main tower

I LOVE the mini games but having to get the perfect score or beat them on hardmode is the most miserable experience ever. I literally put the things down in the first match just how you did and still lost. I hate it.

Honestly most of the mini-games in rebirth SUCK, including this. Though Queen's Blood was fun :3
