@mikeharderPK1 It more or less is an adventure with good characters and a fairly powerful storyline. The story is set in another universe as all FFs are. It follows a mercenary named Cloud who has been more or less genetically engineered for fighting. He and his friends are trying to take down Shinra to begin with, the super-corporation destroying the planet by literally draining the life out of it. Cloud once worked for them. Through a muddled series of events involving a man known as Sephiroth

@Taaalm Cloud defected from Shinra. Cloud "killed" Sephiroth when he went insane, but later learns Sephiroth is still alive and has some nasty plans for the planet and everyone living on it. He and his friends set off to stop the mad man and along the way learn quite a bit about themselves, learn of sacrifice and experience horrible loss... The game is dated, though the plot is still very good. A less dated spin-off, though it has serious spoilers to this one, is Crisis Core.

It sounds awesome. It's a great re-composition on it's own. But let's say you're playing FF7 and this song starts playing when you arrive at Cosmo Canyon... it just doesn't fit. Everyone there is at peace with the planet and is connected to it in some way. It's the kind of place you'd expect to hear a track by David Arkenstone, not John Petrucci. But like I said, the track on it's own sounds great!
