FF7EC (4K) Leviathan EX2 : ft Bootleg Murasame (No Lightning Arcanum)

just testing out this screen capture software :) it looks solid but takes quite a bit of time for youtube to process. i havent played this on steam often, im more used to playin on mobile . it does look and feel better on steam so will likely record on it instead. so at 3:42 for some reason he will use his Briny Bellow one time at the start of his sigil phase. don't ask me why but it seems to only happen on steam
also at 9:17 this is the first time i've seen him go into a second sigil phase this late i believe.. usually he just starts using briny bellow twice and it will kill red. it's a different game on steam

Nice man. I like you're sort of taking me up on my challenge, even though your tifa is like god mode attack lol btw is there a dps check in this fight where you lose if you can't kill him in time? I saw this japanese guy beat this with tifa as healer and his whole party was ob5 weps or lower. he took like twice as long as you to kill it and seemed to be fine keeping his party alive.

my first attempts was a messy mixture of offensive / defensive play , trying to remove every single debuff and heal up . i did this a couple times and resulted in him just murdering me with tidal wave . it probably likely because i caused it to skip all the different phases since i was using murasame and garb . knowing now that he will snipe the lowest max hp character , you can play around that more defensively if you desire . i just happened to notice that he skipped those 3 briny bellow shots if i could do enough dps . since then i just decided that playing more offensively is a better way to go if you have mostly dps gear like me . this is the first summon boss that works out well playing this way . like i wouldn't try to skip bahamut , ifrit bahamut and shiva . i actually play all those more defensively and am more used to it. leviathan is just not fun defending against all day , i will rather just lay in on him and beat down because he takes forever to reanimate after LB interruption 😁

@@tfoserauqsevoli I really appreciate all the tips. However, I was really asking that if it is possible to just whittle his HP down for as long as it takes without some one shot mechanic if it takes too long like the other super bosses in this game (not counting the actual battle time limit) my DPS isn't as good as yours, but if there is no one shot all party wipe mechanic for taking too long, theoretically it is possible for me to win? There didn't seem to be in that japanese guy's video. it took him about 15 minutes to kill it. you only took around 10 minutes... if there isn't a party wipe mechanic like with bahamut ex 2 etc. then the only thing standing in my way is breaking his maelstorm bar with Cloud as my only real DPS. That guy has the murasame garb and one more level of phy ability pot than me.

@@YourEnd7 im certain all the summon bosses have a one shot k/o if you take too long . its mostly when they are low on hp their last summon attack will wipe for sure.

@@tfoserauqsevoli You sure? That japanese guy literally took an extra 5 minutes to kill it and I translated what he was saying and he didn't mention anything or that he was in a hurry to beat it. He seemed pretty calm lol let me put it into simpler terms. his only dps was Cloud doing like 60k damage at best. his red was helping a tiny bit with under 2k pattack lol

@@YourEnd7 yes im sure . i remember one time also during ifrit/bahamut playing on my alt , the fight ended because i took longer than 20 min , so there is a hidden timer . he is likely calm because he's failed it so many tries and already knows how to deal with it. i mean you can always try it yourself , just follow what hes doing . i found my own way to fight it , i rather not look for a diff way atm

Do you use thunder blow instead of murasame because it charges the limit faster? I have OB10 murasame and wondering if I can use it or just copy your setup

Hey this is just for fun, if you want my opinion on easiest method, go to my barret team. I found that way the easiest 🫡 bring murasame it's much better

do you know why this time he entered the third seal phase instead of doing the usual attacks? one person said because he is under a certain HP threshold, but I don't think so since I almost managed to kill him at that point and he didn't do the third seal phase but did the usual attacks

Not sure myself, I wrote in description tho I've only seen this happen on the Steam version. On my other video it's on mobile and he doesn't shoot the briny bellow during sigil phase or go to sigil phase near death

The only logical explanation I can see here is the hp threshold was met. They are programmed to react accordingly to their hp as far as I can tell. This was just coincedence since it was my first time clearing it this way

I would assume the reason why you don't use Ramuh is because you don't have the Murasame costum, right? (Apart from wanting to cancel Leviathan's animations as much as possible?)

yeaa ramuh takes too long to charge and the damage is not worth it , especially if you don't have near max lightning potency . i have both murasame and garb , this is all just for a bit of challenge and fun 🙂

@@v_iluzion_v i feel that one 😂 i honestly just got them to ob6 not too long ago myself . probably last month or weeks ago, and it was from farming the parts lol. i think i only wishlist it once , the rest were just randomly pulled
