Exactly lol: but having been in his exact position before...only having taken a Rinoa away from a Seifer as all real men inevitably do: maybe multiple times at that: this was also Squall realizing: *"Either way: this pussy is totally mine now."* But also this makes it seem to suggest She DID sleep with him: as *she said she had been desperate after her mom died and dad ignored her.* Hence: my guess is this wold confirm Seifer was a fling for attention. You can observe, compare, dive into Squall's mind, his relationships throughout the story and his journey to become lord of his destiny, taking his path onto his hands and leave a mark on the world. Seifer and Squall, they started differently, but only one found a fulfilling life. A life of meaning. Seifer had dreams, Squall had principles. Dreams without principle will eventually lead to underhanded shortcuts. Principles will help you stand through the test of time and circumstances.

Seems like they were trying to push in dialogue so players knew how Squall would react to Rinoa's past with Seifer, but it seems kind of half assed, so I understand why they cut it. Still, it's nice to see a basic outline of his reaction. I don't think he'd be jealous anyway, as he basically won Rinoa's affections as it is, beating Seifer in romance.

At 5:19 shows that rinoa never had intimate relationship with seifer before.Because so many people think that seifer and rinoa had a ln intimate relationship referring to disc 2 play, when squall and his co engage sorceress edea and seifer at galbadia garden, player can trigger short dialogue between seifer and rinoa if player add rinoa to the team.Seifer said they had something between them at the last summer, but with this video, empasize that rinoa never touches(cuddle i think) someone like this before, except her mom (or laguna first crush) in the past.I think this dialogue can be seen at japanese version, because the dialogue mostly original compared with translated version.

Pretty sure there are some other parts in the game changes what they say depending on what you do. Just can’t remember now. Only things I can remember is when they’re in the basketball court Irvine will get the ball in the basket or bounce it off the rim and miss. And other is the music for the concert. First time I did the concert I didn’t match up any of the instruments to the same song.

We learn early in the plot that Rinoa had feelings for Seifer. I don't think they actually 'dated' though - it was a sort of friendly admiration, which Rinoa explains to Selphie along the lines that it might have been love but she isn't sure. By the time the party meets Adel, Seifer totally loses the plot and throws Rinoa to the ground. I'm sure there was no love lost between them.

Well when you have Rinoa in your party and fight Sifer on disc 2 he says "Riona, what are you doing here? You're going to fight me too? Remember a year ago we..." and then she cuts him off by yelling "Shut up". So clearly something happened between them. We don't know what but it is something Seifer remembers.

Obviously, Rinoa don't want the game to be re-released under CERO C or D rating, so she told Seifer to be silent. Anyway. The whole Zack-Aerith-Cloud also a mix of the original Macross TV series. When I mean a mix, I truly mean a mix. Anyway. Zack is also based on Sonic the Hedgehog, while Cloud is also based on Miles 'Tails' Prower. Tails of course later on pick up a green haired chick with his Messiah Tornado…, oops! Sorry, X-Tornado.

No idea if this is real or not. I will admit it does suddenly feel out of character for the both of them, glad it cut. However, I do know there are a few points in the game where it's possible to get different dialogue depending on some of your previous actions. The two I can remember for sure are when Laguna and Rinoa's mom (I forgot her name) in the hotel room. And the other was after the concert with Squall and Rinoa.

She inherently has something in her that makes it possible for her to receive sorceress powers, then she received them from Edea upon her defeat in Galbadia Garden (Ultimecia’s possession of Rinoa also happened at the same moment). Esthar probably found out about her after she released Adel from the tomb.

When Edea lost the fight against SeeD during the battle of the Gardens, her power jumped into Rinoa on instinct. Along with her power, came Ultimecia (more about that later). Dr. Odine observed Rinoa while she was comatose before she went to the lunar base. Odine probably figured out that her stasis was likely due to her body absorbing Edea's powers, and then transforming/acclimating to those powers. That's how Esthar knew she was a sorceress. (END GAME SPOILER) Edea's power, and by extension Rinoa's power... is actually Ultimecia's power. At the end of the game Ulti dies and passes her power on to Edea. Since it is Ulti's power, she can easily link with it and possess Edea and Rinoa through it, until Rinoa got strong enough to overpower Ulti's influence and thus made the power her own.

The Squall-Rinoa-Seifer thing is nothing. One point during development, Rinoa's actually Edea, who in turn is actually Squall's real mother. vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/finalfantasy/images/c/cd/Ending_FFVIIIStoryboard.jpg See THAT storyboard for the ending! The 'Mysterious Woman' (Edea, or Rinoa in the final version) and Squall're talking to each, then something came out after Squall made a Shooting Star wish, both became very happy and hugged each other just like Final Fantasy VIII's logo. vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/finalfantasy/images/c/cd/Ending_FFVIIIStoryboard.jpg So Squall met a woman/Rinoa, befriended her (I will not comment further), then at near the game's end, she got lost. At the ending, a way much older woman/Edea tried to comfort his 'lost', suggesting to wish upon a star. Squall made a wish, two even. 1. He wants to find Rinoa again. 2. He wants to find his mother too. Squall then commented that he's being greedy, while laughing at the thought of him being a bad child (Page 16, Frame 1). Edea/Rinoa then replied by saying he's always a good boy. Squall looked at her, then quickly finds out that Edea's actually Rinoa, much more, she's actually his mother! He then grabs her (Page 16 Frame 2). Squall and Rinoa/Edea/Julia/Raine/Mother felt ackward at first (P16, F3), then decided to hug anyway (P16, F4). Page 16, Frame 5 supposed to turn into a logo. But then they added an extra scene of Balamb returning back to Earth from the Moon (the Moon is off-limits in the final version). If you can see it, page 14~17 had NO penciled page numbers. vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/finalfantasy/images/c/cd/Ending_FFVIIIStoryboard.jpg Page 13's Rinoa and Page 14's 'Rinoa're different enough. 14's Rinoa looks like a woman in her early or mid 30s. The art styles're also different. Compare also Page 5's Edea to Page 14's 'Rinoa'. You can also see that Irvine proposed to Edea (Cid's gone at P5, F5) while Quistis made a move on Cid (Page 4). Unlike in the final version, where Edea's already married to Cid. This Time Travel story is roughly the same plot from Dragon Knight IV. Older Takeru who lost his entire team, travelled back in time to guide his youngself and the rest of the team for a better fuure.

I will personally blame this Squall-Rinoa-Seifer due the Macross influence in this game. Rinoa's this game's Minmay, while Ragnarok's SDF-1 Macross & VF-1 Valkyrie. See also Blue No. 6 ≈ Ragnarok ≈ Laguna 6 ≈ Ragunaroku ≈ Aoi no Rokugou ≈ 青の6号 ≈ Blue Submarine No.6 ≈ ラグナロク Though Squall and Rinoa're based primary on Macross 7 Trash's Shiba and Enika (who're based on Hikaru and Minmay). Having been in his exact position before...only having taken a Rinoa away from a Seifer as all real men inevitably do: maybe multiple times at that: this was also Squall realizing: "Either way: this pussy is totally mine now." But also this makes it seem to suggest She DID sleep with him: as she said she had been desperate after her mom died and dad ignored her. Hence: my guess is this would confirm Seifer was a fling for attention. Squall was the obsession she was waiting for. Aka: context doesn't change: except we confirm Seifer got some Attention Sex. It's merely my personal conclusion. I completed the game a few times back in the days. Thinking back now just drew my attention to this pattern. You know just, back in the pre modern days or even just by default a common godly person would abhor anything and anyone involved with sorcery/magic/witchcraft. But here for instance, the witch (Rinoa) is portrayed as an innocent object of persecution in which the main protagonist (Squall) is there to protect her no matter what. And this is essentially what the story revolves around. The innocent witch and her loyal knight that is there to love and protect her. It's very typically satanic in its subversion. But this pattern is very commonly observable in mainstream entertainment once you get the hang of how it all operates. The everyday atheist or satanist wouldn't really notice or care. But people devoted to God would certainly get what's up and going on with all this.
