Thoughts on the game, since my microphone wasn't working:
I got out to a very fortunate yet planned start, avoiding the zombies by strategically stacking to preserve as many troops as possible. I correctly identified, from watching the battle log, that the zombies would double a 4th time, and saved a bunch of troops from this, to which I shouted with glee (unfortunately you couldn't hear that cause my mic wasn't working :/ ) Unfortunately, being in last position meant I had to stay hidden, which was the case the entire game until the end. Only 1 player ever saw more than 1 of my 4 positions the entire game after first sets. While that was great for survival, it wasn't great for making kills. I was honing in on a kill when the game made it to the end. (Perhaps portal hopping [I should have done that WAY more but was worried that might make other players feel comfortable smacking away my stack or going for me cause I appeared weaker. Do NOT let fear get in your way! I was lucky this game to get away with it])
The game concluded, as expected, with a feed. Thankfully I had a set on 3 to assure I wasn't the victim, and I got hecka lucky with neither of the players who could capitalize on the feed, killing a player and winning over the long run. (I still was so strong I may have won anyways, but unlikely with the card advantage) After this, I was able to clean up.
I did make four glaring mistakes (for which I feel horribly about) that could have avoided me not feeling so good afterwards. Mistake 1 was killing @theofficialtannergaming over King Hezzie. Rewatching my video, I saw I had an easy kill on Hezzie if I wasn't so stressed and in a speed induced frenzy. Give me a cooler head and I take out the player with 5 cards first. Second, I didn't prioritize giving the correct player (who was on 2 cards, and was reduced to a single position) 2nd place and risked losing to Hezzie in the end game. Third (assuming the correct play is to give 2nd when a player's on 3 cards and could trade), I should have not hit the 20 over setting up an odd kill guard against the zombies, which barely failed and cost me a bounty. Lastly, I shouldn't trust a player fist bumping on 3 cards, and just take the bounty. I was so weak going for the purple elim that they easily win with a set on 3. Taking the kill on purple was the only correct play there. (Which brings me back to how I could have avoided this by still being nice and giving 2nd in a zombies game [always want to do this if possible, cause I feel better afterwards])
Overall, I'm very happy to have had this game, but the end is going to bug me for quite some time :/
