I'm genuinely very crushed. I've loved this game since its original release in 2016. The story, the characters, the lore, the idea of Vision summoning, these were all great to me and I hate to see all of it go. Even though there were a major number of events and units we never got in an attempt to catch us up to whatever the newest features Japan was enjoying at the time, I still enjoyed the journey all the same. Saying goodbye to Rain and everyone at the end of October is going to be hard.

I feel a bit cheated that on October 30th that they will delete all global accounts instead of letting it remain offline in case people still want to play it and just only update the maintenance. There are still so many bosses and characters that I have to beat and levels to complete. Plus all of my unlocked characters will be gone.

Thanks for all the replies and engagement friend gerrtt84. Who knew that one random day I'd see a ffbe channel recommended to me on youtube and after watching a few videos....realize that hey - I feel like I know that name! Almost like I use their friend units.... I still have a few games I play so all is not lost for me. It was kind of welcome for me personally as I feel like my desire to play has been kind of sapped for a while now. I'm just a creature of habit and stubborn. I enjoyed what felt like a sense of community more than the game for the last few years - helped keep me logging in and copying strategies. If I had to make up my own I'd never last in a game like this haha. I forget the event, but years ago Sinzar had a strategy for a vision world that I was short a unit. And I thought of a replacement i had that would not only be be fine - maybe even do better than his! And when I didn't even do half the damage cap.......I was like - yeah. Lets leave the brainstorming to people who understand this kind of stuff which clearly isn't me! Good times.

The FFXIV Ifrit Raid Collab which I couldnt beat even with 2 Orlandeaus.. Those days when Cecil was still the best tank until he was replaced with WoL when AoE Cover was introduced and with it, the Physical Evasion meta. CG Nicole becoming the best support for a while. The Brave Frontier where I got Tilith and took me a while how lucky I was lol. And best of all, this game actually introduced NieR Automata to me. I played that game and thoroughly enjoyed it, so for that, thank you Gumi.

While I did enjoyed the game in the early days and rainbow units was new, NV and CoW is what killed it for me. Glad to had jumped off during NV Keaton event than to have stuck around for this!

Squae Enix didn't get any good pilots or writers during these months? War of Visions should have been removed instead. I enjoyed this game allot because of the 2D and storyline. If this was better than Last Cloudia why shut it down? There will never be a better game on android than this.

When it comes to the comparison of Last Cloudia, LC in general seems to make more money than FFBE GL, granted their work for GL is way smaller than what FFBE did for GL. As someone who played LC for years and then quit, i could see the difference between a company that has a product trying to make profit (SQEnix and Gumi with FFBE) and a company that needs the product to even stay alive, Aidis without LC just shuts down completely so they can't really give it up, and the reason that, even if it would be in a more dire situation, devs wouldn't give it up as easy as they did for FFBE

I think SE needs to come up with new engine for mobile gacha games. The old engine really baffling with tons of unnecessary loading. I played DFFOO a lot and was my favorite game. It hits hard when announced EOS. At least FFBE and FFRK still keep the JP version

Anyone know how/where to get the esper of destruction lapis replica coins? I'd like to get Fina EoD, since she's the last unit I haven't gotten yet....but I'm not seeing any way to get her, outside of the curated NV ticket, but that's locked behind the curated ticket lapis banner.

@@gerrtt84 I checked numerous times, but it seems only the anni replica lapis is farmable. So I just opted to keep pulling from the 11 NV anni tickets and managed to eventually get her. At least the anni fragment shop has her fragments, so I don't have to keep farming this way. So this is the way, in case you see someone else asking!

Any way to try and get the new Wilhelm NV+ using the replica lapis shops? I've been farming the 11 guaranteed NV summons like crazy and no love yet (i've done 20 of them so far). Just curious. I'm really trying to get him before going back and finishing unfinished trials.

His fragments are there but I haven’t seen a way to just get a copy of him, short of just farming lapis replica for tickets that he’s in the pool for and throwing them repeatedly on the hope he pops out.

He’s in the 8th anniversary 10+1 but he’s not rated up. Rhus is, which will give you a nice bonus on farming, for what that’s worth. You can always click the drop rates button on a banner to see if a unit is included.

Bitter sweet. I remember hearing about this game before it came out in 2016 and so I DL the jp version and started there. The global release came out and I was able to transfer all my Jp stuff over.i remember getting burnt out 4 years in and stopped playing for a year. Came back and played regularly for another couple year before just getting tired of it. I jumped back on earlier this year to see all the sh*t they added and it got to be overwhelming to figure out where to start from to catch up. All in all, it was one of the few games I played on my phone and have great memories of this game when I was going through troubling times. Sad to see it go but 8 years is pretty damn good for a gacha game

Well it was inevitable, and honestly with how the game has been going for I want to say the past year... It's been written on the wall for all to see for quite a while. Esther was the nail in the coffin and well, at least we get to do one final grind, finish off any units we want to have finished, just a matter of how much we want to play.

I already sensed that the game is already going into EOS months before due to a lot of cut content so when Clive debuted, I went bonkers and chased for him for two pities and got him to EX-3. After that, I already deleted the game and haven’t yet reinstalled it ever since. Anyways, its been a fun ride for me despite being pissed with Gumi at times.

I literally just re-downloaded this game after YEARS due to losing my original account and never being able to recover it, and only because I caught a glimpse of the live stream anniversary and though to myself, hey this game is still going, might as well give it a try again since it probably won't shut down anytime soon.... famous last words. What makes me disgusted is I spent all this real money right towards the end of the anniversary event trying to get the newest units.

Fast as possible: as many ex3 ffbe units as possible :) and include new taivas/rain/laswell/rhus if you have them. That will help you het currency.

Uh - honestly I am just using Esther, fundamental force, hyoh, Veritas of the frost, and Celeste. It goes pretty quick.

For me the fastest way is to use the older taivas with the highest atk as you can (don't use any clash gear to avoid all the auto buffings) and equipped with his exclusive item taivas gauntlet blink. Then have someone that can give him the highest leader skill wearing the obsidian bracer and nothing else. Then all the other bonus units using nothing. Taivas's auto attack is enough to beat the mobs.

I always had a feeling this eversince begining 2024 this game will ended its service as well like FFRK,Mobius FF and the Dissidia mobile gacha (forgot what the name is) I'm not even sure I should pissed or glad that this game that caused me a hard time only to get the units I wanted most is now literally gone forever. Time to move on to Gacha FF7 or the other FFBE with FFT gameplay lol

It would be a huge risk despite being the best option for this game, first of all, we all know Gumi, or rather extend to SE, was making some of the worst business decisions ever on many gacha game, so even SE find a new distributor for FFBE, that new one will have to solve the mess that Gumi has left behind, and it will cost lots of money. Secondly, the new distributor won't even know the plan to save ffbe due to the consequence left by Gumi is to big for any company to actually do, and this may cause mayhem in the working environment

The game is officially doomed when Gumi has to manage both FFBE and WotV at the same time at NV era, the story is inconsistent, the gameplay has turned into a complex system with no meaning behind, powercreep, and poor decisions to attract premium players who wants to pay real money due to beginners favor the most
