I remember ExDeath back in the day, pain in the backside but an enjoyable fight due to actually needing to do things. ... Was also a nightmare for me since I lacked a usable healer for a hot minute. Vlad... Vlad *existed*, only annoying part was the needing to Fire and Ice to move past a mechanic. Don't remember Kefka being all that difficult... at least until the final phase, [then] things got difficult to deal with. Chaotic Dankness, that was honestly more difficult due to us having a more balanced state of the game at the time, given what we've got now... little bit different.

@@gerrtt84 Hopefully the new difficulties will bring some challenge with them, you know, make the fights remotely interesting. Because for me, Safer Sephiroth wasn't it chief

@21eeveevulpix it’s funny - so many people say they can’t beat sephiroth, but surviving his damage is easy. I took a 3* base unit to a clear and did it just fine. It’s doing the damage that’s the issue, but all that requires is one good unit and a friend to go with it. Take your pick these days.

@@gerrtt84 For me, it wasn't surviving Sephiroth, or even beating him. It was getting it done in the Turn Limit, which I did later on after the first clear.

*facepalm* Sure, this, uhh, *snaps fingers in jogging my memory* ah, Corporate's Big Shots' face has got a SSJ3-ish form, and it's bad. In my opinion, I'd say, if evil really has a face, it's the face of Elena. The day the first Elena dropped in the game, it spelled doom for me. My luck in NieR Automata banners, were all shite! I had my Facebook account logged in back in the day (if you're a day-one OG), and I remember missing my first NieR Automata on 5* era because, my account on FB was, "zucced", or banned. 🤦 Second attempt in 2019 was where I had my shot, but Elena.... Elena snatched that away and made me feel miserable. Absolute dog poop. I had to settle with A2. No 2B. 2020-ish, sometime later, they brought NieR 5* units back, and I managed to get 3, I count, 3 copies of 2B. A moment of peace. Since then, I have been hating and despising on Elena and all other, Corporate's Big Shots, that they call "Fundamental Forces". And this time, I find it a bit personal. Also as a side note.... I better hope they DON'T axe SaGa. Or I'll spell it an EoS for them. 💀

I have to say, I wouldn’t hold my breath on SaGA. Just reading the writing on the wall and looking at what’s been happening lately.
