It's even wackier in the first game where the deevolution gun is a plot point and you can get an alien raptor waifu to fight a giant space tadpole god with.

@@espinas5981 Yes. A main antagonist during the mid/lategame portion of the first game is a humanoid dinosaur trying to get tribal totems that are actually batteries for powering their space shuttle. She later becomes one of the main heroes that fight off the planet eating tadpole god "Guhnash" that the leader of their people summoned to destroy earth because evolution on the planet did not follow the path they wanted it to. She also uses a gun that turned a main character back into an extinct species of rat for awhile. Fossil fighters is like if the pokemon writers had a meeting with the yugioh devs and snorted crack, dialing everything up to eleven. It's great.

My favourite combo is parting blow with a law of the jungle vivosaur, as it can be used to unleash a chaotic hit onto the opponent. Usually for this I run Centro, Berta and some close range attacker with law of the jungle. Trick though is to use a gold fossil integration on Centro to give it the health so that law of the jungle prioritizes it first.

I love these videos visiting FF. I was maybe 7 and saw a commercial on TV for it, then one day, several months later I was with my mom while grocery shopping at Walmart and saw the game for sale, remembering the commercial I asked my mom for it. I was hooked on it immediately and It became one of if not my favorite games ever. Even as I became a teenager who got more into FPS and open world games on PlayStation I held onto my DSi with both FF and FFC until 2017, always revisiting both games and never getting bored with them. Only to sadly lose my DSi when I moved out and it got left behind with both cards. Al that said, I’m really interested in revisiting it again with an emulator, would you have any good recommendations?

There is an emulator called Melon ds which has a built in active multiplayer system, and there is a discord server i'm in that currently supports Fossil Fighters pvp with people that enjoy getting into online battles, here is the link.. it is decently active and has a few people that play ffc competitively if you wish to get right into it and want to know more: discord.gg/wQ2E4UE
